How many pulls do they get out of motor before it needs a rebuild?,that ether is got to just be scorching the rings and cylinder walls....

Nha it's not that bad for it. Ether is bad for glow plugs, thats where most of that comes from. Red hot metal and suddenly it gets sprayed down wet with a combustible liquid is the issue. Melts em and sends molten metal into the cylinder and through the valves. Thats the bad part about ether. These are hi-perf engines. That little bit of ether doesn't hurt it none.

@@mikeznel6048 ether has no lubricant in it,it's burning...it's not about if it's hurting it.its definitely not good for rings no matter what metal on metal moving fast with no lubricant isn't good....I have still never got a answer on passes.

Would it not make sense to put a Block heater and a oil pan heater in this engine to help with the warm up time?

What motor is that? It sounds like a 13.5 john Deere but I am probably wrong.

That's insane amount of ether. A normal high compression engine would blow, at least the head gasket, but most likely would blow the head right off the block. Amazing.

to answer your ? tom these arent high compression these are low compression engines truthfully thats why it calls for 2 cans of the ether

when somebody uses ether on any engine, just a small shot, then everybody goes crazy because it washes down the cylinders :)

@@badgear I asked before how many passes do they get out of these motors before they need a rebuild?,seems like the rings would just get fried from all that ether?,I understand the block is steel and sleeved but damn you can only make a ring so strong....
