(BTW Sandman is the name of the dredge) In the 5th Episode, we decided to punch some sample holes in front of our current production dredge hole. This is due to not getting the gold we were hoping for so we needed to find out if the paystreak keeps diminishing or picks back up. Thanks man. It’s was a fun trip even with all the rain. Wish the gold would have gotten better but that’s what happens paystreaks run out lol.
Great movie! But guys, look for another place because there is a poor metal content here. With a 6" dredge, you should take at least 10 g.! Good luck to you!

Yeah the previous dredging we did at this spot was far richer so we were expecting over 10 grams a day. But the pay streak started diminishing rapidly from where we left off with our smaller dredges. Such is the east coast for gold, the deposits are often small.

It’s a Le Trap sluice. They are fantastic for cleanups.
