his stuff is top notch both story wise and animation wise. I imagine he has bigger team assisting him too, but that can be said for a lot of animators nowadays, so if anything it just makes his helpers seem just as talented

I still go back to Hyun's Dojo and watch stuff like Doors every now and then

When it was the 3 blue guys, and it went Gilded -> Juny -> Tele, I honestly could not have thought of a better sequence of animators to finish off that one guy.

The heart breaking as the kissed guy gets shot was so cleverly cute, holy shit. This episode was phenomenal. The sound effect for the Chun Li kick was so good man. And then the kiss 😂

After watching the stream all the way through I was hoping to see all of them being mashed together, the final result is absolutely nuts and it gives an idea of how much work it would take to make a one minute animation with just about 13 people

Wtf this is so good. Watching animation streams has given me a new respect for animation that as a kid I didn’t have. I now understand why cartoons and animated movies and shows can take so long from announcement to release

Having all of these OG Dojo creators in a video with Ross is a dream come true

We absolutely NEED more of this!!! The stickman animation set to run across an entire building is so good!!! I absolutely loved this and this is now one of my all time favorite videos from Ross, this and Pokemon fusions, we need more stick fight animation!

I remember catching the stream just in time for the reveals, these are all so amazing! Are there any plans to put the full vod of the animation process up somewhere? I always love watching them on twitch because I find watching animation at work really interesting, and the vibe between all the artists is always really chill.

Having Hyun animating a stickman fight scene is a one way ticket to seeing some godly animation

flipnote studio for me tbh. There was a whole section just for stickman fights

In fifth grade,My classmates used to watch those stickman toons and would draw little comics with their own ideas. This, as well as my sister’s interest in comics, inspired me to make my own comic. That made me realize I liked drawing and I haven’t stopped since. I’ve been drawing for eleven years now. :)

God I love the second background drawings so much. The dude gets kicked back immediately and is like “nah I’m good”

Arguable. Stick fights were highly influenced by the classic Bruce Lee-Jackie Chan-Chuck Norris action movies. They've evolved from there, but gotta respect your roots.

I love when the animation is a little janky, but the animators just have to go with it. It makes for some of the funniest animations I’ve seen.

I happened to catch the stream right as the finished animations were being showcased! So excited to see a little process and relive that experience

That fighting in combo in Ross's cave was awesome lol, easily my favorite.

@@Drkrchngl yeah I had no idea! I guess it's where I haven't watched it in a while. I went ahead and looked at the original channel for it too. Honestly, I have no idea where I got the idea that it came from a class either. It's pretty neat though how Ross got them on to work on this! :)

Imagine going to sleep one night, and when you wake up, you look down at yourself and see that you're blue now. Strange, but maybe even stranger, is that there are these gigantic hooks hanging from the ceiling. Oh hey, somebody else is running this way. Maybe they can help you out.

Love how in doors fashion in the second fight he got hit once and fucking bailed as the enemy went back to starting position

I am obviously way, way, WAY behind on this, but this is a testament to how consistent some of these animators that were present in here can be for something so small. And this is just a fraction of their time used to create this fight scene and somehow making something worthwhile with the small amount of hours they had.

This was SO DAMN cool! Also got some good laughs out of me. Can't wait for the eventual FX round!

The final result is as hilarious as it is hyped.

Piggyback to lip smack scene is in keeping with the theme of not allowing anything wholesome to stay that way that this chanel is known for. That's a challenge in and of itself: Animations that no matter what happens in them, they have to end wholesome. Y'all will probably end up imploding in the attempt.

44:02 is my favorite, this must be great practice for foreshortening and poses and such

I absolutely love this, this is so good and funny. Some scenes were so replayable because of how good they are, so much detail just for a stickman animation, I love it.

I spent a good portion watching the processes, then another good portion listening/watching while playing Trials of Mana (the 2D version) and farming end-game resources. Was a lotta fun. This video needs all the likes! I started watching the stream at a little past the 3 hour mark, and stayed to the end. The funniest part of the stream for me was Tele almost getting taken by the Shadow Realm XD

That second one might be my favorite animation and fight scene ever. It's the definition of wasted time, but in like the funniest way possible. They kicked each other and both decided that it wasn't worth it lol

The chat going “Stop he’s already dead!” During the balls destruction combo was the highlight of my day 😂
