The best discussion of _Rahimi_ I have seen. No "Sky is falling" nonsense that some others are giving. Thanks Joel and Chuck.

With the 9th Circuit a quick decision is probably the best because they will never comply with Heller and Bruen Decision.

Even the SCOTUS failed to comply with their own precedents in Heller and Bruen in the Rahimi Decision. The majority are all oath breaking usurpers/criminals!!!

My local PD is charging over $1,200 for a ccw permit. Any lawsuits on price gouging?

Yes. CRPA is suing LA County and LA Sheriff over this and other issues. If CRPA wins, it will affect all departments in the state at some point.

I subscribed and will keep the faith and support even though I'm a prohibited person under federal law for nonviolent convictions decades in the past.

I remember seeing in old westerns where the prisoner was being released from the penitentiary and at the front door being handed back their sidearm(s). I don't know if they were considered felons in those old western days. But it was a prison, not the town jail. But those guys in the jail also got theirs back. Just movie stuff I guess.

What going to happen with Miller? Will SCOTUS do anything with Miller untill after the ILL cert? And if they do take the ILL cases how will that effect Duncan and Miller?

What is the longest you can get a restraining order for? Once you turn in your request, a judge will decide quickly whether to grant temporary protection. The whole process can take a few weeks to months, depending on how complicated your case is. If the judge grants you a long-term restraining order, it can last up to five years. The Blue Cities/States are going to see an explosion of Restraining Orders and they will be long term, five years will be the minimum.

Anyone who has lost their second amendment rights for life for a MISDEMEANOR CONVICTION should have their second amendment rights reenstated immediately because they are the PEOPLE who can still vote and have to serve jury duty the only way someone can be disarmed is if they are considered a dangerous person and that is only those who have committed heinous or violent FELONYS not MISDEMEANOR OFFENCES not condoneing MISDEMEANOR OFFENCES but they do not make a person heinous or dangerous no matter what their MISDEMEANOR CONVICTION was offenses that make someone a dangerous person are FELONY OFFENSES and those who are convicted of a MISDEMEANOR can still vote and have to serve jury duty and that makes them the PEOPLE and the PEOPLE have the right to keep and bear arms

It’s overall bad. The Rahimi decision watered the Bruen standard big time

It was deliberate. Thomas and Robert’s are battling for control of the court. Robert’s just undermined Thomas who upholds the bill of rights. Thomas will fix our next majority opinion
