Born,& raised in Maryland....been in Michigan for a while now. It always amazes me of how many people here have the impression of Maryland being some " cheap" state as they're often surprised when I tell them that the cost of housing far exceeds Michigan. Maryland is a juggernaut of a state in terms of diversity, quality schools, transportation,& jobs( especially for well educated). That being said, for those who are thinking Bethesda, & aren't familiar...come financially PREPARED!!!

Yes Omg I live in north Bethesda and went back home to Michigan. We are literally paying 2-3 times the price in north Bethesda.

It's not north bethesda, its rockville. South of the beltway is Bethesda, north of the beltway is rockville. They call it north bethesda because it's a nice area. When it wasnt as nice they called it rockville.

​@@CarynGardiner I don't think you understand. I've lived in the area much longer than you have. It wasn't always referred to as north Bethesda, it was Rockville. In fact the whole foods location you showed that you called north Bethesda has it's address as Rockville. It wasn't until the area was getting better and more expensive that those Bethesda snobs wanted to call it Bethesda. I've lived in the area since the 70s. It wasn't until around the late 90s to early 2000s that people from Bethesda called it north Bethesda. When I grew up it was always called Rockville. It's what rich people do, they want to rename an adjacent area next to it when it becomes gentrified.

Ya look up Bellevue, Washington Burien, Washington I live in burien I think it’s perfect 5 min from the airport, 10 from downtown seattle, uncontested quiet neighborhood absolutely stunning 😍 views of the Olympic mountains and puget sound. If you have never been to tue Pacific Northwest you have to vacation here once

There is no "north Bethesda", that's Rockville. The real Bethesda is inside the beltway. North Bethesda is just some BS real estate developer name.

Wrong. Columbia Maryland is best in Maryland..by all responsible ratings. But of course you are a realtor so money talks

If you’re a lefty, you’ll live it. Prepare to pay lots of taxes, but you like that I suppose.
