Fayetteville state University alumni and I loved it here. Met so many nice people and I want to move back with my family. We are in Florida and I can’t even purchase real estate. I am saving and working on credit. Plan to relocate here, hoping to buy here too. Just have to convince my husband. It is wonderful here.

I live in HM and I feel the same. Cost of living low, and I get to drive to big cities and bring my tail back home to a peaceful place. Trying to convince my daughter to buy a home here, but she ain’t having it…she wants to move to over inflated Charlotte. Told her don’t call me when Charlotte sends her to the poor house. Can’t pay her bills and mine 😆. Great video sis! 👍🏾

Crappy summers, bugs, high crime, military, heavy traffic, and an 1 1/2 to fine restaurants. Sounds appealing. Not at all. You had me at small town feel, but it come with big town issues. No thanks. When you lead with, “there’s crime everywhere “, 😬

Great video! To me Fayetteville seems like a family oriented city. I’d love to at least visit to see how the environment is. I am in my late 30s, not married or have children but love to explore the outdoors more and I love nature and fishing. Are there many single people there?

We love it here. My dad was stationed here many years ago at Pope Air Force Base. This was his first assignment. I was very young. Things have changed quite a bit since then. Ironically my husband got stationed here as our last assignment 9 years ago. We ended up retiring here 2 years ago. One of the things that helped us make the decision to retire here was our church family!💞

Thank You so much for hitting all the points that I was interested in. I'm retired, living in Cape Verde Africa, sold my home in Massachusetts. I want to invest in another piece of real estate and also my daughter wants to move back to NC, trying to kill 2 birds with the same stone so to speak. I can buy a home for my daughter, have a place to visit if I decide to come back to the states. Watching the market and preparing.

@stellarphase Hope Mills is a suburb of Fayetteville with an estimated population of 17,671. It is in Cumberland County. Living in Hope Mills offers residents a suburban feel, and most residents own their homes. Many families and young professionals live in Hope Mills. The city's overall Niche score is a “B,” and the crime score is a “C.” The southern part of Hope Mills is said to be safer than the Northern part (according to niche.com) Niche.com is an excellent resource for learning about this area. If there's anything I can do, please let me know. Are you considering purchasing a home when you get here?
