@BT.ed9 I have a question to ask. I will soon complete my bachelor in pharmacy. But i want to do my masters in Biotechnology. Would you be able to give some guidance on how should I start?? I mean like which books should I read , which skills do i need to excel at and other tips. Thank you

Hello, I'm Still in Preparatory classes Integrated to a BioMedTech School, For The near Future I have To choose between 3 Engineering Degrees, bioméd and Biotech and Agri-food, and a master degree in bio banks, I'm not good at maths and mechanics So I'll probably avoid bioméd, i think Agri-food(agroalimentaire in French) does require A lot of chemistry, So For The Biotech Branch, The Main Similarities I've noticed that they both Have common Modules Such as Plants Biotechnology/genetic engineering and Chemical Engineering, Does Biotechnology Cover More Fields Related To Chemical Industries also? I've Heard That You can Work With Pharmaceutical companies and Gain Many options (more than an agrifood engineer)For Completing your course of study in Fields(Doctorat) such as nanobiotechnology and Genetic engineering(just like what You have said) For a better career and Income? which One Do you recommend? and sorry for the English.

Yes Biotech does cover more chemistry, first off all industrial biotech, and aklot biotechhnologists work at chemical industries, because of the scope of biotechnology with regards to chemistry. And In the food industry, within chemistry Departments like Analytics etc are also something that many biotechnologists consider/do. And Ofc a Doctorate is always very helpful, and you can land in management positions in a very short time, but the interesting part is that, you can land a research job with a doctorate degree alot easier. Pharma is more developed, so there are man options and the income is much better as well (both in germany and france). As far as i know Nanobiotech is still in development, and some small startups in canada are working heavily on that. But it is very small and has huge potential in the future. I would suggest you follow your interest, otherwise you mught get bored very easily, and if you are flexibel in that area, then i would suggest pharma industry/ Pharma biotech. Microbio is a field in demand. Almost every industry has active microbiologists( in med/bio related industries).....

I am doing bs biotechnology in Pakistan.will i get job in germany?

Biotech is more practical. You can watch the biotech vs biology video. It applies for zoology as well. Think of it as zoology vs biotech. I would suggest you go with your interest but pharma biotech in my opinion is great

The cons are pretty scary. Would you say the pros outway the cons? Im studying chemical engineering but want to delve into biomolecular engineering and biotechnology. My concern has always been the ethical issues, im scared to do more harm than good but i believe in understanding nature and life forms at that level and using it for the betterment of man.

Pros definitely outway the cons. Think of it this way, there are Rules and regulations at almost every company, and in every country there are institutions that control these sorts of things. So most Rules are in place, but Sh*t still happens (intentional by some), so go for it, but we have to be responsible in these things, and dont let it slide if u observed smthing abt someone else....
