Pros and Cons on my Osprey Farpoint 36 Wheeled Backpack

Osprey is a famous brand and a favorite among backpackers. On this video, I am showcasing the same unit I took with me on my an overseas trip. I like its sturdiness and the wheels in the lower rear makes it easy to roll it around airport, hotels, or air bnb.
The wheels are big and durable while the handle frame used to pull the pack is very sturdy.
The compartment can hold more than 2100 cubic inches of space, and I was able to pack in 4 weeks of items that were essential on my trip. The straps inside hold the items in place and the outside straps help to reduce its bulkiness. There are two pockets outside that can hold water bottles or a roll of magazine.
Though it has many good features, it still has many areas Osprey can improve on. For the price Osprey are selling their Osprey Farpoint 36, they should have included lockable zippers on the front and top pouch, enclose the area where the handpull is located, so no insects or small critters can crawl in there, and finally, the back panel that hides the backstraps, Osprey should incorporate loops where a lock could be installed, so no one can easily open it up. There is a big area where the straps are located, and that extra space can be use as extra storage for your items.

I thought about getting this bag a while back. It looks like a good bag but is it worth the price?

Hey DanG, I think even if you used this particular model from Osprey for handcarry, you can get a better one for that much money. Also, the area where the backstraps are held, I wish Osprey has something on it, that allows those straps to` be lock as that area can hold more items. The zippers on the smaller compartment on top, are not lockable so if you check it in, don't put anything valuable in there. And my biggest complain is, that big hole on top, where the handle is located, I am afraid the hole is big enough for any insects to crawl in, especially if you go camping with it. IMHO, I won't recommend it to anyone.
