Most people have the case that folds like a book to protect the screen. I switched to a clear case that only cover the back and use a matte screen protector for the screen. I recommend doing the same to protect the screen.

Yes mine lasts a long time! It does depend on how long you use it for and brightness settings

When it’s new and has just downloaded all of your kindle books it’ll be indexing them for a couple of days, and that will drain the battery quickly

i think you are a little low on tech. the charging cable is called USB Type C, which is like the standard charging cables now a days apart from the lightening port that all old iPhone models have. also, taking Kindle without cover is a lame idea, that's what almost everyone does 😂 also, doing obvious things not to do - like, looking for wifi when there isn't any 😂 you did some real work in stating out the cons 🤣, but don't take my words to your heart. Loved it when you started saying why chose kindle. Love your reads, and of course you are cute ! and loved your cute lil dog😃
