Your info is spot on. Violent crime (Home break-ins, car jacking, shootings etc,.) and corruption are big issues in SA. There are other KZreadrs who put out content asking people to come visit SA and to relocate as well. They show you all the beautiful places around Joberg, Pretoria and other parts of SA (Sandton City, Fourways, Mall of Africa and expensive gated communities like on a golf course etc.,) but none of them will they mention the violent crime that takes place on a daily basis. Apart from the crime & corruption, SA has great weather, eating places are everywhere, beautiful malls and casino's and the road system is great.

Tell me one country that doesn’t have crime. This is by far the most ignorant comment I’ve ever seen. It’s true that there is crime in SA but it is not at the scale and some Europeans describe it, there are places in SA that are just safe and there are places that require vigilance.

Hello, Joburg has crime everywhere. Please don't think that Sandton and Rosebank are safe havens. Expats generally stay in secured complexes. There are several nice areas like Bryanston, fourways, sunninghill, parktown, hydepark, dainfern, waterfall and many many more. It really depends where you will be working or studying etc. Hope this helps.

Every season has its beauty here, depends on what you want to do. December is usually packed with tourists. Would not recommend anybody travelling to Kruger to go in summer as it can be uncomfortably hot there.

Dubai and Johannesburg are very different cities. Safety aspect is an issue in South Africa as we have spoken in the video but there is no specific threat to Indians in Johannesburg.
