Yea why do you think it’s okay to give your 16% Black Population “Reparations Payments”?

I’ve lived in Evanston my whole life (I’m in high school) and I’m still blown away by how beautiful the Northwestern campus and the city as a whole is.

yep, same, in the area my whole life, and the beauty is incredible!

Grew up in Evanston and then moved to Charlotte 20 years ago. In an ideal world I would love to live there again one day but it’s so expensive. After living down here I doubt I could ever come back. Sometimes though…I miss Sheridan road like an old friend.

Great video to have a glimpse of what Evanston is. Congratulations! One thing that was the highlight for me is when you said that you adopted a child / children from an Evanston agency. As I will be moving with two back adopted children, do you think Evanston is a welcoming place for us as a "patchwork" family? How is the acceptance of diversity in Evanston, together with quality of living?

I grew up and lived in Evanston for 50 years, and after living out of state for the past 8 years, I really miss it. It is one of a kind imho.

This was great! Can you touch on entertainment and activities for kids and adults. Evanston has lots of park recs and seasonal activities. Also showing old evanston would be nice.

@@thepaulgorney No, grew up in Skokie :) but lived in Mdison and Ridge for 8 yrs. 2 of my kids was born in St. Francis. And I dunno why Im telling my life story to you lol

Can you please tell me how to commute from Chicago to Evanston? I'm rotating in Evanston soon but I'm quite confused about the commute

Hi, sure, you can take the el (cta train) to Evanston and get off at the Central Street in Evanston which is across the street from Evanston Hospital. Just reach out if you need help. Thanks.

You can also take the Metra Union Pacific from Oglive transportation center to Davis street station and then take 201.

Would be nicer to see the area instead of u always front and center. We want to see the subject matter not the narrator. Otherwise a pretty good video.

Yes, sometimes I do not remember to look at the camera lense, which makes it look like I am looking away. No script though. Just talking.

Visited Evanston back in 2018 for the Northwestern vs Nebraska football game. I like Evanston, Skokie, and Morton Grove.

Skokie sucks, I work there. Traffic is horrible for a town that’s supposedly a “village”

Maybe raise more taxes and use other peoples money to pay for more votes, I mean reparations. Hasn’t welfare already done that?
