How do you know what is right or wrong stuff. America has freedom of speech. And if you don't have American values, then why would you come to america? How do you know what somebody is saying is wrong. Just because you disagree with them or don't like what they are saying, doesn't mean they are wrong

There are some more advantages of US as well 1 - In terms of getting a job in US, unis are so supportive and the resources and networking opportunities in campus is so high that if you have right skills and knowledge, you can almost have a job before you finish your graduation. 2 - There are so many Indian students in each university in US that you’ll ever hardly feel lonely and homesick, and also on the flip side there are so many people from different cultures that gives you an unique experience with them. 3 - Indian food grocery stores and restaurants are almost everywhere. 4 - US wins in terms of economies of scale. They need almost everything including people on a large scale all the time. They go big in almost all aspects of life. Many more positives of US that can be mentioned

These are great points! America does have a lot of advantages over other countries. It depends on why you're going to study abroad - which course, which city, the university career center. I only don't agree on the homesickness bit. I think despite having Indians around and desi food, you can really feel lonely and homesick. America is extremely isolating and individualist as a society, so it can be extremely difficult to adjust, for students even after spending a couple of years there !!

If you are a man you should have 5 years of work experience or two years of work experience if you are a woman, because women have babies and universities and employers are benevolent recognizing the maternal responsibility of women. If you are interested in data science, any school is good, but I would focus on schools with research, because there are very few data science jobs in America for H-1B compared to software developer. And may be some extra H-1B cap exam jobs in research. They're just too many Indians interested in data science and not enough jobs, but if that's what you want to do then go do it. Get your job experience for 5 years working in data science or marketing or whatever you are interested in biotechnology, and come to America for your education. But if you expect H-1B and green card because you are data science, you are going to have a hard time

The data science field is a bit saturated. Honestly if you know coding then go for technical roles and pivot to an MS in CS or Information Security or something core like networking or vlsi. if you don't know to code I wouldn't recommend masters at all. Those who come to the US now for their masters for the next 2-3 years might end up defaulting on their loans..... However, if they are in super technical fields like Java or something they alteast have a chance.

University doesn't matter much for technical fields. Generally, non-technical fields are not recommended. If you know something like Java, Networking, or Information Security, getting a job is incredibly easy. The business-related fields like marketing, data science, and analytics, usually suffer a lot while finding jobs. I have even seen product managers have an easier time finding jobs and many business analytics grads having to take product management roles. Moreover for non-stem courses its very hard to pay off your loan since there's no stem extension, fees are high, and it's hard to find a job.

American employers are not required to ask if you are H-1B or green card or United States citizen. American employer can hire anybody. They are not required to find an American

You have great opportunities for automation and robotics in China and mexico. If that's what you want to do go for it. 82% of America economy is services. America just doesn't need you, although there is some opportunity for robotics in america, mostly in food production, they really don't need you. That's the point, if you have 3-year BBA and masters degree or four year bachelor's degree engineering from india, you are eligible for H-1B, and you can work for Desi body shop on H-1B or Indian Outsourcing company and pursue Masters Degree part-time on your H1B . Got the point that Indians don't understand. Go get work experience at Indian outsourcer, and apply for H-1B job in America with Desi Body Shop

I 100% agree on a lot of these points - having done my undergrad in the US and MBA in Europe - I have experience in BOTH continents. 1. American education system is more rigorous than anywhere else in the world. They make you work MUCH harder. My US Undergrad classes were tougher than some of my MBA classes in Europe. The education quality (I'm talking about the top American colleges) is another level. 2. Language - I faced this problem 1st hand. Having done my MBA from SDA Bocconi, Ranked #4 in Europe for MBA, I spoke Level 2 of Italian -- STILL a LOT of companies said no to me ONLY because my Italian was not at a 'PROFICIENT' level. Which is top level language skills. Yes I could have done a random job/gotten paid less and started working in some company/ done a backend job etc. somewhere but that was not something I wanted to do. The main work, customer facing work, client facing work - no one offers that to you in Europe - because you genuinely cannot get understand locals and get by without knowing the language. If you are looking at budget and fees - and that is your sole criteria for selecting universities to study - THEN the story is different. America is expensive. Europe is Cheaper. No doubt about it.

Why would you ask if the engineer about marketing? That makes no sense at all. You need to do your own research. And figure out what you want to do and the program that best fits you, there is no ranking of schools that is legitimate for what you want to do. Indians are fools looking at us news and world reports. But if you are asking where there are marketing opportunities, that would be where there are companies selling products and most of those advertising agencies are in New York Chicago and Los angeles. So it's very simple to find a school in one of those three cities

@@hallo-xp2whsure. So I basically called him out for disrespecting the views of the party on the other side of the debate. He kept on insulting the people in the comments section for trying to make any counterpoints whatsoever in favour of the US by blatantly writing stuff such as "if your only goal in life is to make money then go to the US" without knowing a tad bit about the other person. His close acquaintance even called me "fake and jobless" when I was nothing but respectful to them. They just can't take constructive criticism. They alleged me of calling out the concerned xyz KZreadr by writing long comments on their videos! I had been watching that very KZreadr since 4+ yrs and never before had I made a comment even slightly in disagreement to their content before this. Of course, when my comments were in praise of their work they hearted it and didn't bash/ block me. My only crime? Disagreeing with them. All I said was that people should make their life choices based on facts and not on KZread videos made by people who hold strong opinions about a certain position. If I watch and appreciate Parth's videos today, its because the guy is so neutral an respectful in his stance. He tries to show you the whole picture and leaves it up to you to decide what you want for yourself instead of bashing you if you hold a opinion different than his own. That's why Parth Vijayvergiya is my favourite KZreadr. I now strongly feel that the aforementioned xyz KZreadr is strongly pushing their personal agenda of persuading young students to go to a certain country, meanwhile inducting them into their business as clients for 'consultation' and 'guidance'. They are doing the very thing they claim to hate on their channel. They are capitalising on the fear of poor Indian students who want to build their lives abroad. And this, in my book, makes them hypocrites of the highest order. PS:- I've screenshotted each and every comment for proof.
