3:36 as it is cantilever beam there will be some moment at fixed end which is unknown, hence taking moment on right side and considering UDL length on right side

Thanks Sir for the nice presentation. I have one query with respect to the maximum bending moment. The magnitude of maximum bending moment is less than the bending moment at other locations. In this example the magnitude of maximum bending moment is 0.125* wa2, which less than the 3*wa2 at point C, isn't it?. I would like to understand why magnitude is not maximum at the point of inflection.

I solved many propped beam problems and I observed that the bending moment is always maximum at fixed support. This is something interesting, as bending moment is not maximum at the point of inflection ( Zero Shear force). Can someone help me to understand the reason? Why bending moment is not maximum at zero shear force location.

Sir ,you did a small mistake.Moment at E .... distance you had taken is wrong.....the distance is 2.5....then the moment at E is zero...then draw moment diagram

This is statically inditerminent beam problem, so we can't get the reaction with ordinary two equation. To solve such problems we need one more equation, as deflection at point "C" zero, so we can get the reaction at C by solving it for zero deflection
