They just passed the ban.

Just have them put it away during class...if they are caught using it during class take it away untill class is over...

This is the second time they show this, could it be that there are issues with the ban? Is it me or should this Smart Phone ban have happened in the 2010'S?

It is up to the parent. She doesn't have to send her kid to a school that doesn't allow phones. She can homeschool them.

My girfriend and her kids, group text with her ex in front of me when its her time with the kids. Its like they are in this other virtual world where the parents never divorced

That’s annoying man. You need to move around from that.

Students have no justification, need or use to have cellphones in class. Their focus should be on education, school work and studying. When I was in school in the early 2000s if my teacher saw a cellphone it was hers for the rest day. These kids have this insane mind set that they need these phones or they'll die. It is not their life or a limb. They can live without their stupid phones for 8 hours. I forgot my phone a few times and didn't rush back home for it and I lived. They don't need them in school. Ban phones.

Smart phones are addictive. All parents should be on board, unless they don’t care that their child is educated.

Buy a dumb phone for emergencies. Smart phones are a big distraction in class leading to students missing important information during lessons.
