Ya Allah forgive us of our major and minor shirk/sins. Allahumma inni a'udhu-bika min an ush’rika bika shai'an aa’lam; Wa-as’tagfiruka le-ma-la a’alam. O Allah, I take refuge in You lest I should commit shirk with You knowingly and I seek Your forgiveness for what I do unknowingly.

Heard about this before but forgot about the Dua, especially the prayer one when someone's passing by and you try and impress, JAZAKUMULLAH

I learnt a few big surahs recently... I'm still young. So I couldn't help being a little boastful to myself whenever I recited these surahs.... I knew the deed I was doing is wrong but couldn't help it. So thank you very much for making me know about this dua. May Allah bless you and forgive you

Narrated Abu huraira: Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said, " two words (sentences or utterances) that are very easy for the tongue to say, and very heavy in the balance (of reward), and most beloved to MOST MERCIFUL. The words are: سبحان الله وبحمده سبحان الله العظيم SubhanAllahi wa bihamdihi, SubhanAllahil 'Azeem."(Hadith number:6682 Bukhari).

(18:104) 💚 It will be those whose effort went astray in the life of the world and who believe nevertheless that they are doing good. (18:105) 💚 Those are the ones who refused to believe in the revelations of their Lord and that they are bound to meet Him. Hence, all their deeds have come to naught, and We shall assign no weight to them on the Day of Resurrection.

Allāhumma innī a`ūdhu bika an ushrika bika wa anā a`lam, wa astaghfiruka limā lā a`lam. O Allah, I seek refuge in You lest I associate anything with You knowingly, and I seek Your forgiveness for what I know not. Reference: Ahmad 4/403. See also Al-Albani, Sahihul-Jami' As-Saghir 3/233 and Sahihut-Targhib wat- Tarhib 1/19. اللّهُـمَّ إِنّـي أَعـوذُبِكَ أَنْ أُشْـرِكَ بِكَ وَأَنا أَعْـلَمْ، وَأَسْتَـغْفِرُكَ لِما لا أَعْـلَم

Daily dhikr Hadith whoever remembers Allah Allah remembers you no matter how small it is Allahu akbar LAILAHA ilalahu Muhammadurasoolullah Subhanallah alhamdulilah Astaghfirullah Allahumma ajinni minan naar Hasbunallahu wanimal wakeel LA quwata ila bila hil aliul Azim

Righteous deeds and worship are al judged on sincerity and intention don’t rush remember who you are worshiping he is watching and listening all the time

What about when Imams in the mosque include information about who donated money and how much they donated (sometimes during public dua) in order to encourage others? I hear this very often in brelvi mosques.

Allahumma inni a'udhu-bika an ush’rika bika wa ana'alam Wa-as’tagfiruka le-ma-la a’alam. O Allah, I take refuge in You lest I should commit shirk with You knowingly and I seek Your forgiveness for what I do unknowingly.

Oh my word, this type of shirk is...insidious (if one isn't extra-conscious and meticulous in policing himself/herself in terms of actions and motives behind actions). We really have to be careful all the time, big time; being as careful as one walking through an unmapped minefiled. It's so easy to commit this kind of shirk knowingly and unknowingly. May Allah make us more vigilant in every second of our personal conduct during whatever activities we indulge in, amin.

*3 important advice of our Prophet(ﷺ)* Narrated Abu Huraira: *My friend (the Prophet) advised me to do three things and I shall not leave them till I die, these are: To fast three days every month, to offer the Duha prayer, and to offer witr before sleeping.* Sahih al-Bukhari (1178) Three days are 13,14, and 15th days of Lunar calendar. The time for Duha prayer is from when the sun has risen to the height of a spear, which is fifteen or twenty minutes after sunrise, until just before the sun passes its zenith (and the zenith is when the time for Zuhr prayer begins). What is meant by just before the sun passes its zenith is ten to fifteen minutes before it reaches the zenith, i.e. before the time when it is forbidden to pray begins.
