Owner Leah had been having saddle fitting troubles with her gelding Scotty and first notice big dry spots on Scotty’s back that turned the hair white in those areas. Doc Jenni talks about a side effects of improper saddle fit being bucking as well as some more long standing side effects of ill fitting saddles such as muscle atrophy cause all sorts of additional back problems. Watch as Doc Jenni tries several different saddles on Scotty explaining the differences with each and what to look for to find his perfect fit!

I have a 7 yr old qrt. horse that is using a saddle that fits him pretty well. This saddle put faded white hairs much like the horse in this video when he was five. Moral of the story don't give up on your existing saddles but certainly try them in a year or two
The saddle at the end of the video, did not address the tightness, or lack of at the front bars. Video ended too soon.

I have a Canadian Quarter horse that is 16.2 hands high I bought a saddle that might be too small I don't know what size saddle he is and he is a rounded with no withers
