even though trikes offer a very different dynamic than traditional motorcycles, it's so great that they are available to those who cannot be on 2 wheels anymore. Much better to ride than not to!

Couldn't agree more!
Lower fairings help too. Hand guards are a must. I know of people who have been injured due to flying debris hitting their fingers.

Recently on a ride, one of the roads we were on was being re-paved. Small rocks were flying everywhere. I had some bruises on my shins after being hit with them. Cars in front were kicking up the loose rocks. One of buddies actually had the headlight glass cracked during that. It was horrible.
I'm so happy for the dude on 3's! Glad to hear he's still enjoying the wind!!

Yes, BUT he’s gotta watch himself & others if it gets worse…. With that condition, it can get to the point u don’t feel anything as in the brakes (or gears) and ya think u are hitting them and u don’t…. Or are not…. Happens to ppl driving all the time (elderly w/ that problem)- Suck to be in a cager when it happens, so I can’t imagine the 3 wheeler and what position he is at on a trip…. Could really effect a few guys lives…

What a great brother you are. Hookin Sean up with that Kemmi Moto organizers was a very nice touch for his new ride. You're amazing. So kind. That's why I love to support all you do, John. And I must also say that Cam is following in you foot steps. He's a fine young man. I love the work you two have done with his ride. Keep it up. I'm rootin fer ya.

Thanks my friend
Not too many people go outta their way, trickling knowledge down to the masses. Saw a set of 2 inch Rhino bars on an RG CVO ST, and it looked magnificent. You're a gentleman, Doc AJ
Was a rainy winter and spring in Massachusetts and wind lotta wind this year. Hopefully summer is better..👌🏻🇺🇸
I own the 2023 120th anniversary Tri-Glide and believe this set - up would be perfect for my trunk . My wife always has " extra" stuff to load into the top trunk Thank you .

@@nelsongn9 Born and raised on bikes , didn't even own a car as a kid. Raced them rode 'um and then crashed um....physically unable to handle either a H-D or a liter bike anymore ,,, so my wife convinced me to "try" a Tri-Glide ..honestly I had to remind myself ..a mans got to know his limitations , once I got past the embarrassment of riding a TRIKE it was all good. As kids we all rode ATC's so the Tri-Glide was an easy fit . Love my Tri-Glide .

@@Rolling3 I appreciate your testimony. I didn’t start riding until I was 50. Still on my first Harley. I like Tri Glides too

Thanks, Robert. Appreciate you man.
Memphis Shade hand guards are well worth it for all the reasons mentioned. I have a pair of hand guards on my bike and I will not ride without them because they do protect the rider from the elements and they also look good. I will purchase them again if I purchase another bike. They are a great product , a must have!
Great video John 🤘🏻💯!! I totally agree with you about having hand protection on a long ride. I have got caught in rain a few times. The latest time , was coming home from Laconia. I got caught in a rain storm from Concord NH to Bridgewater MA. Thank God I had my gloves on. Don't get me wrong, I have gotten caught with them not on in a rain storm and it royally SUCKS!! LOL. It's like pins and needles hitting your knuckles. I do not have a windshield on my Fat Boy anymore, but I'm seriously considering getting another one. Sometimes when I'm riding at , especially in the summer , I'll get hit with a June bug/ beetle , and it feels like I got hit by a seagull lol.
Mephis Shade hand guards are a MUST for long rides and elevated grips. I whole heartedly recommend them.
I have these hand guards on my Road King and they work very well - I had rocks hit my hands before and it’s not fun. It’s also a good protection for bugs.
I just ordered a pair of vanguards they arrived today I cannot wait to put them on we are leaving for Tennessee from Pennsylvania next week I can't wait to see how they work
Totally agree on the Hand Guards. I had my pinky knuckle busted a couple years back, from a flying piece of gravel while coming up behind a truck. It seems so minor, but the pain is brutal. 😂 Hurt for about a week. 😂

Yeah, and if you’re far away from home on a long trip, that could be a problem
The klockwerks windshield and memphis shades hand guards make tremendous difference when traveling.
It's fantastic to see you represent your organization. God bless and ride safe ( ish )😊
Now you got me contemplating getting those hand guards lol😆 they do look pretty sweet✌️great job as always.
I've been meaning to get these for awhile now, gotta just order them !
Thanks had hand guards on all my bikes and heated grips, couldn’t find the ones for my 24 RG till this video, ordered them they are on their way.
I live in Minnesota and a couple of years ago I got some hand guards, that make a big difference in early spring when I ride in to work my 30 miles in 35 degrees.
This is fantastic
Nice video keep up the good work Cycle Fanatix
Bro That was really Nice for Brother Sean !! Thank you Your awesome Hollywood ! Best wishes Doc !!
One of the best upgrades I did on my road trip cross country in October November was the Memphis shades hand guards it cut the frigid air, rain snow and bugs and rocks well. And everyone one always comments when they see the bike do they work well and every time is yes
the hand guards improved your heated hand grips a great deal
Best mod I ever did was the hand gaurds had frozen hands for years before I got them!!!

I have the same Dyna as your son, but modified for long routes with Memphis Shades warrior and handguard. It is a completely different level of travel. Greetings from the Czech Republic. Take care.Roman
I had a couple of quail hit my Memphis shade windshield. The other one hit my hand almost broke my fingers. I'm getting the hand guards 🤙🏼🤙🏼
Wow. Ive got neuropathy as well. It really makes life miserable. Thank god for riding. Ive been looking at trikes for the future. Ironically, the vibrations from my dirt pegs on my Harley Pan Am help my feet. Its even better than having them stuck in a car. For now it helps. Peace!
I have a Memphis shades hand guards from my 22 ST and fit just fine on my 24 CVO st
I know you’re a busy guy and most likely have a ton of content already but was wondering if you could do a video about club life. I’m 48 and kids just graduated and I picked up my very first Harley and was looking into maybe joining a club for riding companions. I live in western NY just outside of Letchworth state park that you rode to last year
Heated grips are awesome bro, I need a windshield tho and seat factory seat killed me I did 1 day 670 mile then 300 miles and 3rd day 670 and my ass and knees hurt so bad
John: could you or someone please do a video on how to install the hand guards on a SGS which has no stalk mirrors.
Thrashin bars 🤙🏼
I wish you could get them guards in other colors but could always go and get them color matched to the bike
Got them on my duece love um
14 KST on my RG I have the hand guards will not ride without
What handlebars are you planning to put on your road glide I would like to lower set also
Oh, and how do you get “hotter” than the temp at a higher speed? For example, 95 to 97 at 65 mph.
I have handguards !
I purchased hand guards last year before a trip to mountain Washington last year i agree must have on a long trips
Do you have club members out of state?
