I posted a link to a youtuber called hard2hurt who demonstrated this exact thing as the "correct technique" a month or so to the Kalah facebook group. Really glad to see this has been addressed with a demonstration of the correct technique of control, that guy is going to get someone killed. I absolutely love training this self defense system and I still have a long way to go, but it makes so much sense, the thought processes that went into it are amazing.
