Proper Chords to After You've Gone

Музыка

If that lesson helped you, and you like to support me, I would be grateful, if you show it. Every Dollar counts. Due to the Corona Virus, all gigs have been canceled and it's hard times, especially for musicians with family. Thank you so much!

in gypsy jazz music.

I was looking for different versions of this song, and I must say I like this one the most (starts at 1:42). Sven sings beautifully and of course plays impeccably, with style and convincingly. There are dozens of different versions including famous names and big bands but I find them pretentious, too slow, boring, too artificial, etc. Sven's version is short and sweet. Great job. I am learning this tune as well with the help of Sven's video. Cheers.

Not just the proper chords, but beautiful rhythm playing, and pretty good singing. And it is only after hearing you play the cowboy chords at 14:42 that I realise it is a pretty cheap guitar . Thanks.😀👌🎸

Thanks Sven, you have done much so make the transition from violin to guitar much easier for me! Great resources to be found on your channel. I still don't get how you get this "wooden" dry sound on the downstrokes (or beats two and four), but I hope that might just come naturally with more practice

Thanks so much for this, Sven, extremely satisfying song to play and sing. Now I want to learn "Just Friends" (which I know from Chet Baker and whose voice is very similar to yours!) but despite the similarities to that song, it diverges pretty significantly and I can't figure it out. If you'd care to do a brief tutorial, I would surely welcome it!

Hey Sven. Thanks so much. I would suggest a re-arrangement of your lesson. Play it snazzy and jazzy. Then, play the first position version. This allows the "student" to be amazed and then, encouraged. I have subscribed.

It sounds crapy, indeed! I'm not sure if I mention that in this video, but I bought it as a camping guitar, cause my family and me do that a lot in summer. Though it's a cheap and really bad guitar, it has still something that any non gypsy guitar lacks. So I got it for 150 Bucks, and I have 4 expensive GJ guitars so it was a good choice 😅👌🏻
