    Thanks for the video, I cheered up after seeing this video last week and bought a mini rose bush, it has already been almost a week and va👍👍👍 look at another video where you have minis roses in your garden, they are very beautiful but you have one like that. large in pots if so, how often to transplant to a larger pot and what would be the final size of a pot to achieve a mini rose bush as beautiful as the ones you have in your garden. Thanks again for the very good video👍👍👍👍

    hmmm, good job nicely done. I am afraid that you separated your plants into individual containers not propagating. I am looking to propagate mine as I am down to a single mini rose plant from the 5 that I separated a number of years ago. Would you happen to know if I can propagate cuttings as I would other rose varieties? Thanks

  • @DelightfulSouvenirs

    @DelightfulSouvenirs

    3 жыл бұрын

    Yes you can! I was able to successfully root a cutting from a miniature rose I planted outdoors just by soaking in water. It took a long time to root but it happened. It was one successful cutting that rooted from many that failed. So it might have been a fluke for me, but it shows that you can propagate through cuttings.

    Thank you for this video...does the egg shells & coffee grounds count as fertilization for miniature roses? I bought one in memory of my lil dog I just had to euthanize...and need help knowing how to care for my indoor miniature roses its in a 4' inch pot now, and took it with me to a nursery to ask for help because it had lil cobb webs on some roses & leaves found out they were spider mites so bought some spray for it. I almost used Diatomaceous earth to help keep insects at bay...but, bought the expensive Rose spray instead. I was told to move it up to a 6' inch pot next year & maybe by then it will be ready to be planted outside into a big planter which we plan on placing a small amount of ashes or some fur into the soil & placing a small memorial head stone with her pic on it on top of soil. I pray that with Love my Babygirls Rose bush will Bloom just as Beautiful as she was.🤞🙏🌬🌹 Your Roses look so Beautiful & Healthy & I can only hope mine come out looking just as great as yours! 🤞🙏🌬🌹🌹

    @DelightfulSouvenirs

    I’m sorry about your lil dog. How are your roses? I hope that they are well and still giving you good remembrance of your little friend. I find the spider mites become a problem with keeping roses indoors. The roses need direct sunlight for at least 6 hours a day. The indoor conditions just doesn’t agree with roses. Roses can be kept in containers successfully, but I haven’t learned the art yet. I hope your roses succeeded.

    How much coffee grounds do you use? I know too much or doing it a certain way can give them nitrogen burns and kill them

  • @DelightfulSouvenirs

    Thats right, so I don’t put too much. In this bucket of soil I used about 6 kcups of coffee grounds. A little nitrogen is good for establishing newly transplanted plants.

I want another one so bad and cannot find that kind in the United States...I understand they have it in Canada at Heritage Farm, I believe, but cannot ship to the US........I want another one to use making beautiful jewelry.......are you in Canada......do you know about the micro mini .......the circus clown had a white center and strong fuchsia edges with very bright yellow stamen.....wow ......wonder if anyone reading this has heard also????❤💟💓

  • @DelightfulSouvenirs

    @DelightfulSouvenirs

    2 жыл бұрын

    Yes you can... Cut a strong stem just after the flower has withered (soft cuttings). Make sure you have a clean cut so that the cuttings won’t rot. I did this before! But in my climate, short summers that is, it takes a long time. Also, I just soaked the stem in plain water. It rooted in a month.

  • @DelightfulSouvenirs

    @DelightfulSouvenirs

    Hello Sonu. There are many varieties of roses in Canada that are grafted as well. And there are some that are grown from own root such as these miniature roses. Own root roses are more cold tolerant but they is a limited choice in variety compared to grafted ones. Own root roses are either grown from cuttings or seeds.
