Thanks Jordan!
I have a question for Dan. One of my favorite SF film props is the EMERAC computer from the 1957 film "Desk Set". That film is not SF, but the EMERAC computer prop was reused in all sorts of films, including The Invisible Boy, The Fly, The Return of the Fly, and on several TV series including Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea, on the Seaview bridge. What I liked about it was that the huge panel of flashing lights had some complexity to it and it wasn't just a bunch of silly on-off flashing lights as was all too common in older SF props. I'd love to know if any portion of this prop still exists and learn more about the sequencer that drove it. I haven't found much detailed information about it on line, except that it was built by IBM for "Desk Set", and I'm wondering if Dan knows the prop I mean and has ever heard anything about it. Thanks.
