We can't know if they are together or not, but I can say that they are probably the most real-looking Korean gay couple I've ever seen and I've been into kpop since 2011. Their behavior is very distinctive that makes me believe they are in love with each other. I've never seen that before. Both of them are always touchy and cuddly with other members (like ass slaps, hugging or even kissing and such) but they are never like that with each other, Baekhyun always gets extremely shy around Chanyeol and Chanyeol is jealous if Baekhyun doesn't give him enough attention. He always says they are soulmates and he wants to protect Baekhyun because he's so small. Idk about you but it looks real to me. And it's highly possible they live together (we can assume that from ig live streams) even though they said they don't share a room with anyone, the only ones that share a room are Suho and Sehun. Either way, I still love them and it doesn't matter if they are together or not because the relationship they have is still the cutest thing ever. And thank you for this reaction, you are so cute :)

Just Terez not sure what you mean lol, also nope, even Chanyeol and Baekhyun shared a room together, i think it was around debut. The members used to be paired up by 2 (some were 3 if I remember well). As for now yes, Chanbaek won't say but many theories show that they could be living together.

Just because someone doesn't like a gay ship doesn't mean they're homophobic, smh... it's quite the opposite in most cases. So many people that ships male idols together fetishizes homosexuality... Plus the fact it's creepy to ship real people, It's kind of almost like they are controlling idols, making them more scared to date someone who they actually like because shippers always throw a huge fit. Like when Kai dated Jennie and Krystal. the Kaisoo shippers acted like a bunch of delusional idiots, hating on both female idols. Because it ruined their perverted fantasies about oppar being in a gay relationship with another EXO member, just so they can have fap material. That's why most people don't like these ships.

Besides, in a talk show with JYP, Korean EXO-L said that they don't want the members to date even when they're old :) that's what makes they get scared of dating (or being exposed), not because of shippers. EXO-L generally just don't like the idea of EXO's dating, it's not like shippers are the only people who pissed off with that news.

I'm sure Chanyeol didn't appreciate when a fan sent him a gay smut fanfic about himself and another member. If you did not know, "smut" is pornographic written/drawn material. Either way, there is no possible way to defend shipping real people. it is invading their privacy to creepishly obsesss, and fawn over who ever you want to see them date. Also close to sexual harassment for those who create sexual fanfics or images of them. When Luhan dated some Chinese actress, I saw mostly Sehun x Luhan shippers upset about it, than the fan girls who actually thought they had a chance with him. They even bothered sehun about it from what I've seen. I call it "fap material" and "perverted fantasies" because that's what it really is to a lot of people. They want to believe all their male idols are dating each other just because they think it would be hot or cute. That is fetishizing. Especially those who will not accept the chance of their idol ending up with a female. And if they really do it's always "he doesn't really love her" or whatever excuse they can come up with.

I’ve seen so many other kpop ships before, and I’ve also seen other groups interactions with each other, but I don’t feel anything else for those ships. But when I watched ChanBaek I get this weird feeling of warmth and seeing them interact is so cute to me. What got me into the ship the most is the way they looked as each other, I’ve seen no other ships like that, which is why it was weird to me. Their interaction when they think there are no cameras. Something about this ship is so pure and warm I can’t even explain it. I have friendships longer the Chanyeol and Baekhyun’s friendship but I never once looked at them or they look at me like that. I’m glad you liked this ship, many others do too. No matter how many times I see them together, or how many time I watch the same videos I still get a warm and tingly feeling seeing them together.
