So you believe in once saved, always saved? If you can remain saved after denying Jesus, then why did Jesus ask us to stand firm until the end? “Once you were alienated from God and were enemies in your minds because of your evil behavior. But now He has reconciled you by Christ’s physical body through death to present you holy in his sight, without blemish and free from accusation- IF indeed you continue in your faith, established and firm, not moved from the hope held out in the gospel. This is the gospel that you heard and that has been proclaimed to every creature under heaven, and of which I, Paul, have become a servant.” Colossians 1:21-23 Did you see the word if in Paul’s statement? According to this verse, we are to continue in our faith, established and firm, not moved from the hope held out in the gospel. Some, however, decide willingly to depart from the faith, which is why Paul addressed the conditional phrase if, following the truth about our reconciliation by Christ’s physical body. “…But they were broken off because of unbelief, and you stand by faith. Do not be arrogant, but be afraid. For if God did not spare the natural branches, he will not spare you either. Consider therefore the kindness and sternness of God: sternness to those who fell, but kindness to you, provided that you continue in His kindness. Otherwise, you also will be CUT OFF.” Romans 11:20-22 See to it, brothers, that none of you has a sinful, unbelieving heart that TURNS AWAY from the living God. But encourage one another daily, as long as it is called “Today,” so that none of you may be hardened by sin’s deceitfulness. We have come to share in Christ if we hold firmly till the end the confidence we had at first.” Hebrews 3:12-14

JUST LOOK AT TWO OF OUR LORD’S APOSTLES, PETER AND JUDAS..even though Peter denied Christ three times, and The Lord said that “whoever denies Me before men I will deny before The Father” (Matthew 10:33) Peter never lost his salvation. On the other hand Judas was NEVER saved, despite being one of The Twelve Apostles..The Lord said in John 6:70 “Have I not chosen you, the twelve? Yet, one of you is a devil!” This was BEFORE he’d betrayed The Lord..his betrayal didn’t cause him to lose his salvation, it showed that he was never saved. Peter, despite committing a terrible sin that The Lord said would cause someone to be denied by Him, was forgiven. Thank you Lord Jesus.

Life is a roller coaster. Expect ups and downs. Sometimes you walk in the Spirit, sometimes in the flesh. Instead of letting short-term failures discourage you, look for the long-term changes. I’m talking decades. Also trust the righteousness that God credits to those who trust Him instead of themselves. I think sometimes God let’s us stumble just so we don’t get too big for our britches. Stay dependent on Him.

I’m a po’ boy with no money for it, so I can’t name many. Majesty Music published the music of Ron Hamilton (very God-honoring, high quality). Majesty probably publishes Hamilton’s Patch the Pirate albums, too. There’s an app called KNVBC, run by a Baptist church in Santa Clara, California, and its “college.” The app plays their Internet radio station, which has a mixture of news, preaching, and music. They might have a playlist that would give you leads on some small labels that haven’t sold out. The church has published some of its own albums, too. Luke 7:36-50 is where I see some solid evidence. Especially on how it ends: And He said to the woman, “Thy faith hath saved thee. Go in peace.” Did the woman die immediately after? Did she never sin afterward? But how Jesus put it is pretty clear: your faith has saved you. Past tense, meaning, done deal, finished, completed. And to top it off He said "Go in peace" further proving, it is done, there is nothing left for her to do - go your way, go in peace.

And we are His, and no one and nothing can take us from Him because His Will is sovereign and as God says it-so it will be. ‘Our good’ is to follow Him and be sign sealed and delivered by Him-we are His and don’t belong to anyone or anything else.

Please also see Matthew 7:15-20. Evidence shows that Carlton Pearson was not ever a Christian. He wasn't simply an apostate; he seems to not have understood the reason for salvation, which is why he clearly couldn't understand the reason for condemnation. I choose to turn away from this. I never want to get comfortable. I never want to be lukewarm. The very thought that Jesus would spit me out of His mouth ? That is literally my one and only ... my literal only singular fear in life. Every other thing I could bear, literally every other fear that others may have I can bear as I can do all things through Christ. But separation from my Lord, my Yeshua? I cannot bear. The best way to love something is thinking that you could lose it. (Personal opinion).

The ones who believe they can lose their salvation can't be saved. They are relying on themselves to get and to stay in right standing with God. They say they trust God AND themselves to be and stay saved.

@@orangeandslinky Sure we can.Jesus said by their fruit we should know them. Matthew 7:15-23. You can find MANY videos of Carlton Pearson speaking against the Most High Yah and our Lord Jesus Christ. He said and I quote "He fired that God". He was going around speaking against God in the church. They filmed him on his deathbed STILL speaking about "Christ Consciousness"... Sadly, he did not repent. Read 2 Peter 2. False Teachers and Their Destruction 2 But there were also false prophets among the people, just as there will be false teachers among you. They will secretly introduce destructive heresies, even denying the sovereign Lord who bought them-bringing swift destruction on themselves. 2 Many will follow their depraved conduct and will bring the way of truth into disrepute. 3 In their greed these teachers will exploit you with fabricated stories. Their condemnation has long been hanging over them, and their destruction has not been sleeping. 4 For if God did not spare angels when they sinned, but sent them to hell,[a] putting them in chains of darkness[b] to be held for judgment; 5 if he did not spare the ancient world when he brought the flood on its ungodly people, but protected Noah, a preacher of righteousness, and seven others; 6 if he condemned the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah by burning them to ashes, and made them an example of what is going to happen to the ungodly; 7 and if he rescued Lot, a righteous man, who was distressed by the depraved conduct of the lawless 8 (for that righteous man, living among them day after day, was tormented in his righteous soul by the lawless deeds he saw and heard)- 9 if this is so, then the Lord knows how to rescue the godly from trials and to hold the unrighteous for punishment on the day of judgment. 10 This is especially true of those who follow the corrupt desire of the flesh[c] and despise authority. Bold and arrogant, they are not afraid to heap abuse on celestial beings; 11 yet even angels, although they are stronger and more powerful, do not heap abuse on such beings when bringing judgment on them from[d] the Lord. 12 But these people blaspheme in matters they do not understand. They are like unreasoning animals, creatures of instinct, born only to be caught and destroyed, and like animals they too will perish. 13 They will be paid back with harm for the harm they have done. Their idea of pleasure is to carouse in broad daylight. They are blots and blemishes, reveling in their pleasures while they feast with you.[e] 14 With eyes full of adultery, they never stop sinning; they seduce the unstable; they are experts in greed-an accursed brood! 15 They have left the straight way and wandered off to follow the way of Balaam son of Bezer,[f] who loved the wages of wickedness. 16 But he was rebuked for his wrongdoing by a donkey-an animal without speech-who spoke with a human voice and restrained the prophet’s madness. 17 These people are springs without water and mists driven by a storm. Blackest darkness is reserved for them. 18 For they mouth empty, boastful words and, by appealing to the lustful desires of the flesh, they entice people who are just escaping from those who live in error. 19 They promise them freedom, while they themselves are slaves of depravity-for “people are slaves to whatever has mastered them.” 20 If they have escaped the corruption of the world by knowing our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and are again entangled in it and are overcome, they are worse off at the end than they were at the beginning. 21 It would have been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than to have known it and then to turn their backs on the sacred command that was passed on to them. 22 Of them the proverbs are true: “A dog returns to its vomit,”[g] and, “A sow that is washed returns to her wallowing in the mud.” I believe God.

For those who think its impossible to fall away...Paul says of himself that he could become a reprobate - 1 Corinthians 9:27 But I discipline my body and bring it into subjection, lest, when I have preached to others, I myself should become disqualified (greek=reprobate) I'm sure you wouldn't argue that Paul wasn't a true beleiver right? So why did he believe he could become a reprobate? For those that hold to OSAS, do you think you are greater than Paul and that you have a different promise than he does? Because it seems to me that you who hold to OSAS think you could never become a reprobate because you are sealed... And what about col 3 1 - those who are reconciled can only be speaking of true beleivers, right? Thats the only possibility...so why is he warning those who have been reconciled about turning from the gospel if that's supposed to be impossible? Colossians 1:21-23 And you, who once were alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now He has reconciled in the body of His flesh through death, to present you holy, and blameless, and above reproach in His sight- *if indeed you continue in the faith* , grounded and steadfast, *and are not moved away from the hope of the gospel* which you heard, which was preached to every creature under heaven, of which I, Paul, became a minister.

Please answer these questions for me Mr. Minor. We already know The ungodly and wicked will be thrown immediately in the lake of fire, correct? Which leads to my next question. Why and who should there be a judgement day in heaven for Corey? He did say all (the body) will be judged for Good and Bad Deeds? Also, During judgement, isn’t this is what He will tell those who lead people wrong which mean they were FACE TO FACE WITH CHRIST 👇🏾 Matthew 7:22-24 King James Version 22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? 23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity. And then 👇🏾 Revelation 22:19 King James Version 19 And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book. This destroys OSAS for the Saints. Now, The Elect are His sheep! The 144,000 who were called according to His purpose who cannot be deceived and are chosen. These are the children of the 12 tribes of Israel WHO ARE NOW SCATTERED THROUGHOUT THE EARTH (four corners not those who sits in Israel now) and meet Christ in mid air for the wedding supper. The Saints Matthew 24:13 “But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved. WE MUST KNOW THE SUBJECT TO REACH THE OBJECTIVE.

@@morghe321 I agree with the Bibles teaching when Jesus said we cannot enter his kingdom unless we are born again. The OSAS term I don’t agree with because it creates a category that now becomes a witch hunt. I feel it has made division versus the simplicity of Christ and becoming born again. I agree once truly born again God has made full contact with the person he has saved by his grace through faith and not of ourselves lest anyone should boast and that’s where I don’t agree anymore with the OSAS because then it becomes about us keeping our salvation and creates this whole scenario and doctrine about keeping oneself saved. Even our conversation right now is going in circles because of that teaching. If I didn’t agree with you and was opposed we would have a huge comment response train lol. Thank God for the Truth. I do also lean on eternal security so long as we truly love God because no matter what he is always good and will do his part to keep us by the washing of the word to hold us. I have after becoming born again slipped into moments of frustration and pride, sometimes in a sense reliving a feeling of what I left behind but in that position I feel the Holy Spirit shoving me out of it. I feel I cannot enjoy a song (for an example) because my spirit rejects the words, rejects the sound rejects the feeling of the song assuring it’s ok to let down your walls. The same as with lust, seeing someone attractive, blocks pop up before I have the chance to fall into sin. It’s the subtle sin that is hard to catch such as not loving one as yourself in expression or tone and speaking in a manner of love that I find hard. I have gotten better but this I think is what I believe God is refining in me. This is my troubled spot so when other people say “backsliding Christian’s” that’s where I think the OSAS causes the confusion when someone is still being refined truly. I think it’s very important to keep us on the path that we are to renew our minds daily and meditate on his word. God bless you

'Working out your own salvation' is submitting one's own will to the Lord who would never lead his sheep to hell. Hence, the fruits of the Spirit (God the Holy Spirit) will develop within each and every one who does, urging one not to sin willingly but IF and WHEN we do fall short the blood of God the Son (Jesus) covers that 'slip' up. I advise you to study the difference between committing sin and practicing sin, a.k.a sinning, because we, human beings, are from a sinful nature versus habitual sin. Yes. You can take back your life and send your loved ones to hell by showing them Christians are just hypocrites. You can neglect rewards and see rewards burned up on judgment day. You can neglect a rewarding relationship by remaining distant from your Father. You can come under chastisement that can lead to losing your reputation, your family, your job, your health, and can die a premature death. You misdefine “die in their sins.” The phrase means you die with your sins I forgiven. “Saved” is the opposite of “in your sins.” So, your first sentence contradicts itself. “Work out your salvation” has two plausible meanings. - Make sure you really are saved and not a false convert. - You have salvation inwardly, so out-work it. That is, love like it’s true. It’s like having a mining claim. After you gain ownership, you have to work the mine to gain the benefits of ownership. The verse does not say “work FOR your salvation.” That would contradict a massive collection of NT text. “Fear and trembling” because the cost of being a false convert is unbearable and because the rewards of living your faith are terrible to lose. BTW, “give their (not “there”) life to Jesus” is not biblical language. It often reflects poor understanding of the gospel. This, you need to work out with fear and trembling.

Hebrews 3:8-19 were not those who came out of Egypt not baptized under the cloud and in the sea to Moses? But why were they cut off? Did they have God's promise? Verse 12 thru 14 says take heed BRETHREN lest there be in U an evil heart of unbelief in DEPARTING from the living God. (caps not shouting but emphasizing words) U CANT DEPART FROM GOD UNLESS U ARE WITH GOD, THIS IS NOT UNBELIVERS, AS IN NOT SAVED UNBELIVERS, THIS IS THOSE OF THE HOUSE HOLD OF FAITH THAT WOULD NOT STAY IN FAITH, REMEMBER THEY HAD THE PROMISE. (caps not shouting but emphasizing words). Verse 14 for we are made partakers of Christ IF WE HOLD THE BEGINNING OF OUR CONFIDENCE STAEDFAST UNTO THE END. so do u have to keep the faith, til the end or can u fall away and still be saved no matter what? (caps not shouting but emphasizing words) Hebrews 4:1-3 LET US THEREFORE FEAR LEST THE PROMISE BEING LEFT TO US OF ENTERING INTO HIS REST ANY OF U SHOULD SEEM TO COME SHORT OF IT. how can u fall short if its a PROMISE from God? Vere 2 for unto US was the gispel preached AS WELL AS UNTO THEM. they heard the gospel also. but the word did not profit them not being mixed with faith in them that heard it. Verse 3 fir we who have believed do enter into rest as he said as I have sworn in my wrath, if they shall enter into my rest ALTHOUGH THEIR WORKS WERE FINISHED FROM THE FOUNDATION OF THE WORLD. seems like they had their names in the book of life BEFORE the foundation of the world. This is exactly what scripture says about all of those who are born again. So if u can't lose the promise why does scripture say u can? Your missing one critical thing, and that is you have to endure to the END to be saved. Ezekiel chapters 3 chapter 18 and chapter 33 also adresses the righteous turning from their righteousness, and DYING IN THEIR SINS will not make it into eternity with Jesus, i think u need to do another video, and affirm that we must stay in faith til the end, til Jesus comes for the church, or u die in faith.

You cannot lose your salvation, if you are truly saved. That's the whole point 1 John 5:13 (AMP) These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God [which represents all that Jesus Christ is and does], so that you will know [with settled and absolute knowledge] that you [already] have eternal life. ‭John 3:35-36 (AMP) The Father loves His Son and has put everything into His hands. [36] He who believes and trusts in the Son and accepts Him [as Savior] has eternal life [that is, already possesses it]; but he who does not believe the Son and chooses to reject Him, [disobeying Him and denying Him as Savior] will not see [eternal] life, but [instead] the wrath of God hangs over him continually.”

Can you speak in layman’s terms brother it’s confusing hearing all of these unusual words and Greek language? I speak plain English there must be a way a person like me can understand the word of God using the words in the book.

You can lose your Salvation. The Bible and Jesus makes it clear that THOSE WHO ENDURE TO THE END WILL BE SAVED. It does no good to accept Jesus as your Savior and go back to SINNING.

Grace is not license, osas gets used a lot to justify living in sin. Oh I can sin, there is no such thing as a perfect Christian, I I'm a Christian but I still cuss because I'm not perfect, etc etc etc. All the usually arguments. Instead of, yes I still struggle with sin but I'm living in repentance and seeking victory over sin through prayer and being in the word of God. Not just accepting it and saying "osas" Keep the faith!

A person who doesn't bear fruit isn't a Christian. But if we read further in Chp 15 v. 16 He says that he has appointed us/them to bear fruit. Therefore, they will bear fruit.

@@smartchristians yes but the point is are they born again, in other words are they of the house hold of faith? U can be in Christ and not be doing what your called to do. I'm making the point that a believer must be a doer of the word to be in eternity with Jesus forever that's my point I was making. There is a difference in being "born again of the Spirit" and being a Christian, they were first called Christian at Antioch BECAUSE they were observed to be followers of Christ. U can have the Spirit of God in u and not be living a Christian life, and if u die in your sins Even though u are "born again of the Spirit" u will be stripped of the promise of eternal life that's what I showed u in Hebrews 3:8-19 and Hebrews 4:1-3 that's my point.

I am not saying that you can "lose your salvation" as you could a set of car keys, but the bible is clear that you can choose to "forfeit it". Salvation doesn't revoke free will, or the whole point of creating us would be lost. "The great falling away" isn't people that were never saved, leaving. It is blood bought believers falling away from their faith.

I think we overcomplicate this ,One For a True Believer ,they Can't loose their salvation otherwise ,Jesus died on the Cross for nothing meaning His grace is not sufficient, meanimg that you actually have to depend on your works on some level which isn't what God fought for,He Fought for the Union to be established btn God and His creation,So saying you can loose it is wrong on the simple reasoning that You would be thinking it is because of You that you mended the connection with God.

See people think that we are prrfect once saved but the bible teaches that He is the one who is perfect and through Him,we are made (not already perfecf) made to be perfect and Being perfect isn't a requirement for salvation Rather ,belief in the Grace through faith..

  • @TheGospelRenewed

@smartchristians But that's just it. You say will not make a practice of sin but can not define practice. You believe God can and will keep you from losing your salvation. You believe God will MAKE us obey his commands just as the scripture says, but you don't believe He can keep us from sinning period, but allow us to sin here and there. And when we do sin, if we feel bad and regretful, it shows we are believers. The scripture is clear. When I exam the scripture verses that speak about the practice of sin, some versions do not have the word practice but are more definitive. For example Ephesians 5:3 states that as a saint no unrighteousness is to be named among you, not even once. Are versions that state this wrong?
