One of the most underrated bands on earth. Check out some of their more recent stuff, brilliant.
Prong was a thrashers best kept secret in the 80s and 90s. So was Voivod

Voivod's "Nothingface" is still an untouchable masterpiece.
One of the Finest Bands on Earth GREAT ROCKSHOW

I’m old school and I still use CDs. I put “Cleansing” in my car the other day ❤❤
What I think a lot of people don't appreciate, is the GROOVE of Prong, pacing and the quality of the arrangements. And they rock. What more could you want?
Love Tommy Victor's guitar style. Cleansing is a monster album, tons of riffs.
love this song... love this band.... I'm having a youth flashback.... this live was awesome!!
Obvious next step - Killing Joke - "The Death and Resurrection Show."

PREACH! 🙌
The opening line is so fucking true. "Nothing breeds more contempt for this world than the memories that form." Damn.
This was guaranteed to be on Headbangers Ball every week on MTV back in the day
NICE!! I'll put Prong's Cleansing up against anything from that era.
check out Prong - Best Served Cold, Beg To Differ and Lost & Found

Prove you wrong was my favorite
Keep the Prong going. "One Outnumbered" has a sick bassline. Keep it going with the 90's metal too. Listen to CROWBAR.
Paul Raven of Killing Joke played bass on this song and album. KJ have been extremely influential on a number of artists.
this was a firm favourite when i was going to rock clubs in the late 90's, one of those songs that get everyone on the dance floor
This is the best song I listened to 🤟🏻🤟🏻🤟🏻
OOOOOO... F*cking love Prong!!!!! Check out "Who's Fist, is this Anyway"
One my favorite metal songs of all time
Holy shitttt best Power trio in 90's prong is so brutal.
Great song great review
yeah, 90´s, baby!!!
lol i have this cd use to play it at work while on acid, packing bumpers on the line it never stopped 90's rock lol =^..^=
Love Prong!! Fan since 1994!!!
At the time you had Ministry edging into more commercial Metal/Industrial (Psalm 69 era)... and then Prong was coming from more Metal into a blend of Industrial/Metal. They are fun Live... and yes... JUMPING ! A lot of fists in air with each jump... waves of fans in the early 90s.
I've never really listened to Prong much, but it gives me a Fear Factory vibe...and that's a band I've loved since early 1997 (Carmageddon... You know!).

Fear Factory has a Prong vibe, since Prong predates Fear Factory.
Early Prong from 88 through 94 was the best!

Some good stuff since as well. Really liked Carved Into Stone...
THAT solo at 3min though!!!
I play this MAX volume in my car!!
You are correct. I've seen live a few times and this is always one of the songs that gets the room amped up
I crank this when my neighbours get on my nerves 💯🤘
It is a super fun song!!
Just brilliant!

Yeeesss!!
❣❤ like the groove of this song . Inspirational . The work of the guitars is insane
A local band here in Wisconsin, back in the 90’s covered this song & Holy Sh!t did we mosh like bastards when the double bass drum & strobe lights kicked in !
I always liked Tommy Victor's riffs much catchier than for example Dimebag Darrell's, still listening them, even today, Prong are so underrated!
infernal groove
You guys should try being in their pit. Been there twice and it was awesome!
Agreed, amazing live. Amazing power trio
awesome song
I have this video recorded in VHS from that same TV program: Viva TV, a german Rock/Metal/Alternative channel that started broadcasting to Europe via the satellite Astra 19,2º East in 1993. Later on they were acquired by Viacom, MTV's parent company, and unfortunately terminated on December 31st 2018. They introduced me to a lot of bands and had shows dedicated to specific music genres. This particular video was from a show called Metalla.
BROKEN PEACE OR BEG TO DIFFER PRONG IS BADASS
That was the year that Prong and Helmet were fixtures in my playlist. "Whose fist is this anyway" is another banger.
Prong - Unconditional has the one of the heaviest riffs ever.
🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻
GREAT reaction guys!!!
Still got the CD single to this. Raven on bass is always a good thing.
I’ve always liked Prong. I remember when this song debuted on the Headbangers Ball on MTV and I loved it! They had a song before this called “Prove You Wrong” which is pretty dope. There is an alternative version called the “Fuzzbuster Mix” which was a club version of Prove You Wrong. Prong said on an interview on the Headbangers Ball that they were surprised that kids on the club scene really were getting into them. They were like, hey that’s pretty cool to be opened up to a whole new fan base.
Is it even a rock night in a club if this doesn't play at some point ?
Those Valvestate Marshalls !!!
Saw them this past Halloween in Nashville. They played with Entombed and Black Label Society. Awesome Halloween.
TOMMY VICTOR was working sound at CBGBs and got PAGE HAMILTON/HELMET into the the scene back in the day

RIGHT ON ... KEEP ROCKIN'
Beavis and Butthead, 1994. I think it was the "Manners Suck" episode. That's where I first saw this and many cool videos of the time.

lol thats where i saw some of the best head bangers, this one too
Good shit! Prong is metal royalty!
So in the metal timeline this is the bridge between alternative music and what would become Groove metal big influence on helmet, big influence on clutch, huge influence even on Pantera although Pantera swiped more of their ideas from the brilliant band Exhoarder.

@@adrianstjohn4820 I think there's a whole generation that only ever heard them through Metallica... Same with The Misfits, or even Mercyful Fate. Which is a shame, but I can't deny KJ were progenitors of that guitar crunch

True and Jaz was the influence on most extreme metals vocals. Saw killing joke in 79 and 80 and they were amazing and intense. Still making some great albums..all the best to you
Thank you for doing this one. I beg you please do Clean my Wounds by Corrosion of Conformity.
To be honest in the past I did not appreciate it but nowadays is so hard to get new music honestly! Enjoy 😂
Saw this band too. Most violent mosh pits I ever saw for some reason. They remind me of Rob Zombie too.
Yes.
You guys rule! You guys just plain rule!! 🤟🤟
I’ve never known this was a thing… I thought this was a Demon Hunter original 🤷🏾♂️
Drowning Pool - Bodies!!!

i finally got them to do Bodies!!! check it out
Stupid good beat, how come I havent heard them before?!
Prong - criminally underrated and along with helmet have influenced heavily some of the biggest metal bands today and most people don’t know it. Still going too. Would highly recommend ‘revenge served cold’ from the newer stuff - it’s awesome. Tommy Victor is a riff god. Also The band CROWBAR - non heavier
Demon Hunter made a cover of this song and is amazing
Please check out Skye Sweetnam's singthrough of her band Sumo Cyco's Suneater. As a vocalist I'd say her style is somewhere between Maria Brink, Alyssa White-Gluz and Gwen Stefani.
Prong kills .....been listening to them forever. amazing more people dont listen to em. another lesser known band that rocks is Throttlerod.
You guys should check out the cover of this song by the band demon hunter
The entire Cleansing album is 🔥 🔥 🔥...
Justin Credible ECW vibes 👌👌
Demon hunter did a fantastic cover of this song.
Goodone
Reminds me of fear factory 🤘
Good old german VIVA Times!....when you could find good music on TV Shows.....check out THE YOUNG GODS & TREPONEM PAL from Switzerland from the same Time Period!

Cleansing is a phenominal album
Demon Hunter did a cover of this song
Please do corrosion of conformity vote with a bullet extended …. It has shallow ground as the beginning and just gives the whole song so much …. You will not be disappointed or the next song is free
They’re pretty good live. But maybe it was the anticipation of knowing pantera was next. Lol
Home Rule FTW
Awesome song awesome reaction. Check out Demon Hunter’s cover
Check out Paw... They're were awesome!
On the work out play list. Get mean.
Suzi tho.....🔥
Saw it at Bogarts cincy when it came out. 800 people in an old movie theatre turned concert hall. Rediculous

I moved from Indiana to Dayton in 98. It seemed like every week there was always at least one good band playing Bogart's. I couldn't agree with you more. Bogart's 8s the perfect venue. I'd much rather see bands playing there over any arena or amphitheatre.
Listen to Beg to Differ.
Can you do "glass full of liquid pain" by Crowbar please?
Demon hunter did a cover of this song
Suzi Q Travis Nice
The ending was cut off😡😡
Pro-pain - let sleeping dogs lie, Johnny black, stench of piss, foul taste of freedom, problem reaction solution.
Wrong, people were moshing. That's a gen x term btw.
Wrong reaction for this song..... for me it's more of an intense kind of feeling rather than a smiling happy face one.... each to it's own.

Those two seem like the type of people that are incapable of being unhappy or angry. I admire that about them, actually. Especially when reasons to be angry seem to present themselves constantly.
Prong can get in that groove and killer riffs on top. Seeing them live is exactly like she described. Fkn great
Just when you think Metallica is the hardest band along comes Prong!!!!!!
