Prong collars and ecollar compliment each other - Balanced Dog Training

Prong collars and ecollars compliment each other!
Most dogs that we train, arrive pulling heavily on the leash. They typically have their owners trained 😅 (or forced) to give into (remove or lessen) the leash pressure by coming towards them and going where they want to when they pull. This can be dangerous and contributes to reactivity and other behavioral issues.
Instead, we teach the dog that pulling no longer works and that THEY need to come towards the leash pressure in order to remove it. Prong collars allow us to teach this directional pressure on/off communication with minimal tension.
This prepares the dog for eventual off leash, non-directional ecollar training! We gradually replace leash guidance with low-level ecollar stimulation which mimics the pressure on/off language. During the learning process, the known leash guidance is used to assist them.
When used together, these tools can provide amazing leverage! They can be seamlessly paired together for crystal clear communication. Whether you’re walking a small dog or a dog that weighs more than you 🙃 learning how to use these tools effectively can open up a world of new adventures and opportunities for you and your dog.
Good job - Fenway, CeCe, & Sulley! 🐾❤️🐶
