After watching your video I think I'll hold off on the supermoto tires and wheels. I think I'll get the proline holeshot tires for the Vitavon wheels I have.. after I wear them down offroad I'll run them as onroad tires.. the taller tire and wheel set I think is the key.. 👍👊😎 Thanks for making the great videos Earl..

The tire on the rear is a street tire which is smaller than the stock tire and lowers the rear and allows it to rub on the chain guard.

Definitely punchier on 3S, but I can tell you rarely were on full throttle. I don't own one of these things, but it looks like a bearing supported chain tensioner could be easily fabricated. It also looks like it would benefit from having a more rigid set of training wheels - maybe even with a spring that will allow it to pivot slightly. I also think that a longer rear swing arm to stretch the wheelbase might be a hot ticket as well. I'm sure we'll see tons of hop ups for this thing soon. Cheers!

I’ve been following all your experiments and loving the findings that you have shown especially with 3S. I have been thinking about all the Gyro discussions here and some research of my own and I think there are at least 3 things going on here and the term Gyro is confusing things. If what I’m about to say is incorrect, then please someone let me know. I believe there are 3 Gyros working on this fantastic RC motorcycle. The first one that gets most mention is the Mechanical Gyro that you turn on and it gets spinning up real fast to stabilize the bike (mostly to keep it upright). The second is an electronic gyro built into the SR6300PM receiver for steering. The third is an electronic gyro for throttle control also part of the receiver. So a breakdown of the 2 electronic gyros 0:03 : Notice when you turn the steering left the wheel goes right? This gets the bike to lean left like the real thing. But after that in order to keep the lean in the turn you need help from the steering gyro. It helps keep the desired turn and from leaning over to far. The second electronic gyro is for street and wheelie mode. Dirt mode is gyro off since there isn’t a lot of grip for the front end to come up. When in street or wheelie mode the electronic gyro limits / takes over the throttle control as long as throttle is above the desired speed to achieve the angle. For example: in street mode the throttle cuts a bit so the front end doesn’t come up but optimized acceleration and in wheelie mode there is a set angle the bike is allowed to go to and the throttle is regulated to maintain that angle. What I’m not sure of is if that angle is factory set and or adjustable. If the static balance point angle is set in theory you could do slow or fast wheelies. They would both ride at the same balance point. More experiments needed. I was reading the manual for the SR6300PM receiver and there was both Gain and Priority settings. Not sure how to configure all that at the moment. There is also a way to update firmware as they come available. This is a feature packed RC that’s yet to be fully understood! Keep up the great videos! Thank you, Jasen

@@earlmoorhead5555 definitely something to keep an eye on, because once the chain starts to wear out and get side slop, it may come off in a left-hand lean eventually. How many batteries down-the-line? They need to design the rear tire to tighten the chain like an actual motorcycle that would solve the problem of chain tension.

I think it's stupid the street tires are so much smaller than the dirt tires! You are loosing top speed with smaller tires and they are causing clearance issues as well. I think it might be better to wear out the dirt tires like the hobby shop did and run those for speed runs. Also, have you talked to a local bike shop about replacement chains or perhaps shortening them once they stretch out? They may have chains that could hold up better than stock ones. It's definitely not cool they are stretching out that quickly.
