Projects Pick Up! After Week Seven in Seattle

Hey folks! Aaron W Chen from Composed and Focused Studios with another #vlog from #Seattle!
As per usual, let's start with favorite photos from last week! actually liked more than three photos but cut them down to three different subjects.
For my first choice, I'll show you this detailed and somewhat chaotic close up of some posters stapled onto a lamp post! I really liked all the details in this one and the torn face added a degree of spooky and creepy that worked with the composition for me.
For photo two, I liked this one taken at Pike Place Market! It's a street scape that shows how many people can be at Pike Place…well, a small fraction of them. Looking at this photo for longer allows you to see people in the background, seemingly at different levels than others. More chaos, which I like.
My favorite photo from week six was likely this one. I saw a rental bike while eating breakfast at the end of the week and liked how the raindrops looked on the dark panel mixed with the strong teal and red.
At Flatiron this week, it was project week! We were told we would be using SQL again and using databases to conduct hypothesis tests. It was pretty cool! My partner and I decided to look at a bunch of data that had been scraped from the University of Wisconsin at Madison and we wanted to see if GPAs were affected by being STEM or non-STEM classes, whether they were held in the morning or afternoon, on weekdays or weekends, and if one department (math) had professors that graded consistently. It was a really cool project and made us feel like decently skilled data analysts. We neglected to perform sufficient testing to ensure that the data didn't overlap, but I thought that was good as it added something else we needed to learn to polish everything up for wider public release! I'll own up to not knowing enough, for sure.
For exploration, I didn't see much! I did still explore my usual areas but didn't think too much about photography this week. Project week is usually a hard week to explore since I tend to work on the project after class and this week, I went to a few networking events in the evening too.
Ok, now on to week 8! This is Module 4 and covers calculus and Time Series Testing…
