The Z33 Excelsior wide body kit is nearly complete! The last major part of the kit to be completed is the new hood. And instead of working behind the scenes and showing the end result as I have thus far, I've decided to document the process of building the new hood for you all to see in order to give you a little idea as to how I go about some of the fabrication work that has gone into the rest of this kit.
In part 4 of this build series we tackle all of the under hood work that needs to be done to ensure that the hood is strong and protected from engine heat. Afterward, we put the finishing touches on the outside detailing and apply the spot/glazing putty in prep for primer! We're nearly there!
