@@kaiserwave5977 The only Leon and Jill who met each other were in the “Resident Evil Alice ft. Everyone else” movies. Ironically even then, that version of Leon also did not interact with that version of Jill onscreen either in Retribution even though Leon was stated as Jill’s partner in the RCPD. Essentially taking Chris’ role as he is buddies with Barry in the movie. Additionally, they were killed offscreen for The Final Chapter. I guess Leon and Jill won’t have any face to face meet up onscreen in their own RE universe. Incidentally, Jill and Claire never met either. Only their respective REmake’s voice actresses ironically did.

@@Valstrax69 If PxZ3 had the Bayonetta characters into it , it's clear that you either had Dante&Bayo as one unit , while Vergil&Jeanne in the other , or at least D&V in one unit and B&J as the other. Nero would be paired up with Rodin , since the concept art of DMC4 Nero had him be originally named "Rodin" , so it would be a nod to that.

do you all know why ryu was surprised? it was for the simple fact that leon's japanese voice actor (Toshiyuki Morikawa) voiced ryu's character between 1998 until 2005, the latest game was (Namco X Capcom), thinking that he heard a younger version of himself. Proof: check the ryu/ken dialog and street fighter games/crossovers between 1998 and 2005. (Street fighter Alpha 3, Capcom Vs. SNK 1&2, Namco X Capcom).

The first is great for anyone who played Namco X Capcom or have seen a playthrough. Toshiyuki Morikawa was Ryu in that game, since then he's now Dante AND Leon, so this is such a reference. When working with Reiji and Xiaomu, he's referencing Kyosuke Nanbu, the hero of SRW Impact, a character that he's ALSO played.

I think a more subtle way to phrase that would be “Just don't pull anything, Leon. I had to part ways with the last guard I met because of certain circumstances."

It's important to note that these dialogs are not all straight up translations from Japanese. Most of them have a great deal of liberty taken in order for the U.S. and Europe to appreciate the inside humor.

That artwork was shown reminds me during the first half of the Leon campaign story when a city in the US was infected with the C-Virus along with the President of the United States.
