Project what? Please suggest me a good name for this rocket

Current plan:
Designing to withstand ~Mach 1.5
~3Km altitude
APCP propellant(seems like I've to switch to dextrose or sorbitol based propllant to save time)
Custom machined rocket motor
Single deploy parachute
Non similar dual redundant flight computers
~1.3m tall(the open rocket design is older version)

finally a good attempt at model rocket by an Indian, by the way I didn't understand your propellant choice 'KPCP'??? potassium perchlorate? why not use Ammonium perchlorate and Aluminum powder (APCP)? and there are also many other issues for example your choice of accelerometer mpu6050 is not going to work, it has a very small 'g' limit. it may work for drones but not for rockets which have a high acceleration... this is just one of the many many hardware challenges that you'll have to face, even after solving them the hard part is the guidance and control.

Oh lol, I wrote that at 4.30am right before crashing, so it's a typo, it is indeed KPCP, not APCP! I had the MPU6050 at hand, and I am well aware of the 150m/s^2 limit of MPU6050. I am thinking of recording the launch from two perpendicular angles and estimating its position using fusion of the data measured from magnetometer, GPS, and the accelerometer. For only the 2 seconds the data from MPU6050 will clip off and I'll compensate for that in my code. This rocket btw is not actively controlled. And the flight computer shown less than half of the avionics stack I'm using(notice it doesn't even have any pyro channel right now). Thank you for the comment!

you could lower weight by removing the pointy end and making it a simple half globe top.

A hemispherical nose cone will reduce the altitude even after the insignificant weight reduction. The geometry I'm using is Von Karman geometry(guess how I modeled it in fusion360 when it doesn't have an equation-driven curve?). It's an optimization of the Sears Haack body(a shape that has the least coefficient of drag for any given volume and a fixed length, if you change the shape even a little bit the coefficient of drag will increase). Check out the wikipedia of "Nose Cone"
