A SA video to end a great day. ❤ Wheels look great! I hope you’ll test the car with the old wheels first though. If you bring too many changes to the track in one go you’ll never know which of the changes caused the improvement. Great to see the S2000 back on its wheels. What a car! 🤩

I LOVE a good 5-spoke wheel and yours look awesome! Make them where they can fit my ND lol. I also don't want to roll fenders, so a 8.5 width with a 45 offset is just about perfect for that with a 225/45/17 or 235/40/17 tire.

Have you guys got additional designs in mind for your own wheels, or what's the long term rationale? Design is clean, but I guess it's hard to do an "original" 5 spoke that's not weirdly outlandish in style. Reminds me a lot of the Advan GT, or the Rays wheels that were optional on a lot of OEMs back in the day like the MS-01S.

If you are in NC anytime soon hit me up, you should try my car 01 AP1 vs yours. Mine is completely stock engine with j's header, test pipe, AEM cold air intake. Suspension is Sakebomb Ohlins long stroke setup and sway bars with Titan 7 TS-5's Bridgestone Potenza RE-71R 255 square setup, without rolling of fenders. Handles amazing, would like to see the difference between yours and mine. My car still has stock brakes with Carbotech pads and SS lines though.

Did you fellas have any issues with the spherical bushings fitment on the rear lower control arms ?

wheels look good! not a huge fan of the center cap design but that's all personal. Car sits way too low on the front, I agree. I'm waiting for my advans to arrive in 17x8.5 et51 all around, will be running a 245/40 squared so we'll see how they fit. I'm on ohlins and probably 5mm lower on the rear with similar gap up front. Did get my arches rolled slightly to allow for 245 to clear..

Hey Quinn, you have mentioned that the miata feels more natural at the limit while the S2000 is more edgy. Do you think these modifications will make the S2000 more progressive and fun to drive as opposed to just fast?

They suk. Studs start to rust. And faster than you'd think. Tats my experience with them

The front 7.5 +45 do not clear the new calipers so those are definitely for sale. I kinda want to try to pick up another pair of the rears for a street setup

... And I would love to see what kind of times you can get in that thing on the configuration LRP has been using for AutoX season standings.. That is a beautiful car, beautiful wheels, and I suspect could be one of the fastest on track (with the right tires)

Decent spec wheels. Far too many people run stupid sizing for the sake of getting a show car fitment yet the claim to use the car properly😂 waste of expensive/lightweight wheels and the wide tyres that aren't making them faster
