Fourzifer that is the name of the game.... Obviously demo was "PROJECT Octopath Traveler"... The main game will be simply Octopath Traveler... Octo indicating there will be eight playable travelers in the game. Can't wait myself. Going to be amazing. :D

Octopath Traveler and Xenoblade Chronicles 2 will have a good fight for that award

There doesn't need to be a "Working Title", just call it Octopath Traveler. Catchy, memorable, rolls off the tongue. Don't make it something stupid like, "Path of the 8 Wanderers" or something.

"Working title" means that they are still working on making the name of the product, and the name given is a placeholder until they do. For instance, "Kirby" was the working title for "Kirby Star Allies" during E3 before it got it's official name.

I don't think the name fits what they're attempting to create with this game. Yeah I understand the 8 paths. But the name is too generic. It gives me a Stardew Valley vibe. I think they're trying to really recapture epic rpg's from the SNES day's and many of them are memorable with epic titles.

My most anticipated Switch game - the soundtrack in the demo was just stunning

So much love and effort into this project!!! Loved seeing the drummer especially, it made such a difference to the music haha

One of my most anticipated games on Switch. Square seems back in rare form with this one.

With the expansions into the mobile area, Square Enix is a company that you have to keep a closer eye on now. Not every game they put out now is must have in my book, but they still put out gems that shouldn't be overlooked.

I am sorry but this game has the most beautiful musics on Nintendo switch.

Turned out to be one of my fav games of all time

IM SO HYPED FOR THIS GAME! The graphics, the music, and the story is just all so good! I've already played the demo and I'm totally gonna get this game! I can't wait to see all the other characters and just the full game in general :D!

I have never hyped over a game like this. My body is so reggie for 2018 that i don't even care about christmas anymore.

Good to see Nintendo featuring this. . . The demo really propelled this game to a high level for many people I feel, which is great. Everything about it that I've played was wonderful. Day one experience for sure.

Octopath Traveler is Switch-exclusive (and from a big-name studio), so it's in their best interest to hype this game up. It looks - and SOUNDS - amazing. Square-Enix is technically third-party but they have a studio division that is focusing on Switch-exclusive stuff (so kind of like a 2nd-party subsidiary).

The hype is real! I can't remember the last time I was this hyped for a game^^

Snake8Bit just wait until you try the demo. The combat takes some getting used to, but man is this game fantastic

Games made with orquestal instruments instead of only piano they are a GEM well polished.

A big part this OST is responsible of the success of Octopath Traveler. All OST of this videogame is sick!! Thanks Yasunori Nishiki for bring us the epicness of the rpg's golden era to the present with your compositions

they absolutely nailed it with the music.

Maybe they got the idea of basic mechanics and progression of the game (octopath traveler) but didn't develop the story enough yet for a related name

Well remember before Nintendo changed the name of the Switch to the Switch. It was called NX. Everyone got used to it. When we heard they changed it to Switch it was a little off putting at first but now it just fits perfectly with the system. Plus, I think they're looking for a more epic name to fit the game since Octopath Traveler feels like a Stardew Valley name at least in my opinion.

YESSSSSS WE NEED MORE GAMES LIKE THIS. I understand that gameplay is the most important part of video games, but when games have really really really good music, it adds so much more to the atmosphere and over all experience. I am so happy right now this is a good day.

This Nintendo published JRPG from Square Enix is gonna be the most epic title of 2018! Octopath Traveler (a Switch exclusive) is a definite must buy both in stores and at the eShop!

Pyrex I don't care about any of those games. I don't like RockStar games in general. GOW games aren't great action games. I'd much rather play Bayonetta or Nier. TLOU is one of the most overrated games of all time. The gameplay sucks (you can't really argue that I think) and the story, which is pretty good, had some 'meh' moments. I don't like post-apocalyptic worlds in general, either. There are only 'three' games on the PS4 I'm looking forward to. Death Stranding, Ni No Kuni II (I'm not sure about the new combat system, though) and (hopefully) Bloodborne 2.

This, Wolfenstein 2, and Bayonetta 2 are my next big switch purchases 😸

I have listened to this game's OST over and over since the demo came out; just stellar!

This honestly is one of my most anticipated game of 2018

This game will be excellent. I hope to God they release this whole soundtrack for purchase on iTunes and Google Play.

been playing this game for 5 hours thus far and this game better get a nomination for best music score of the year. hands down my winner thus far.

I've been playing this game non-stop since it launched and the music is undeniabley my favourite part!

The demo for this was great. Definitely a day 1 purchase for me whenever it launches

One of the most engaging demos I've played, ever. I'm so excited for the release of this, the music already sounds amazing, it's awesome to see so much work go into games like this. I hope there's a special edition that includes a physical copy of the OST. ❤ Day 1 buy, for sure.

Kickass soundtrack

This is #1 on my list of most anticipated games of 2018. I truly hope this game does well and that we maybe see a third installment in the Bravely series on the Switch as well.

Mario Kart 8, Splatoon and its sequel, Tri Force Heroes, a little bit of Breath of the Wild, and now this. I hope we see more recording of soundtracks posted on Nintendo KZread channel. Especially if they’re like Mario Kart 8 case where there’s dedicated videos per song.
