They’d have to buy a quick swap rear end setup and install a stubby Ford 9” to be able to fit big enough slicks to hold the power of that coyote

Im a 33 yo grown man, family, and business owner... there's nother better coming home after work and the kids are pumped to sit down and watch cleetus! Probably one of the best channels on KZread and is kid friendly! Keep up the good work my friends!

At this time in his life and how many fords he’s been doing lately there wasn’t much chance of an ls good in it. I know he’s going to continue with ls motors in stuff also but he will keep whatever brand car with its brand of engine I’m thinking. most people on here did not know ed i lived down the street for a couple years and man he would love this setup and how far it has come he just loved cars and tilling story's about the cars he had back in the day just a darn good guy and i love how cleet keeps this car alive HELL YA BRTHER

Check your distributor. 383 / 400 is a low deck big block with a counterclockwise rotation. You have a small block with a clockwise rotation. Rotation and shaft length I believe is different.

i still remember the video of you all getting the gt500 that donated its heart to neighbor. great times but glad to see ed will get to ride again. he is smiling down from heaven knowing this car is still kicking in his memory.

Just like cleetus said with the with 4 cams of the coyotes they respond to boost very well. Ls/Lt need a cam change for sure. Nice to see them using both kinds of engines cause there all good when properly setup 🤙🤙🤙

If I remember correctly, Chevrolet’s lt6 5.0l in the new vette is dohc. Only a matter of time before that engine design trickles down into other models

SMX & TKM both great engine builders. TKM does all my motor work. It works out great being they are 45 minutes down the road and they have a hub dyno

The builders Cletus works with finally figured out to build for the horsepower Cletus wants, and then times that by 2.5.

I think it's more like cleetus can finally afford the power he wants. If you remember a few years ago they could make stock Ls engines last more than a few passes. Simply because their power goals weren't as high

Hey Cleet, a Coyote is still a mod motor. It's the amalgamation of the 03/04 terminator 4.6 and the VCT from the 3-valves.

Yep! Same bore spacing, bellhousing pattern, deck height, oiling system. It's essentially just a modular block with a slight overbore and slightly longer stroke to get that 5.0 number. Then they slapped some kick-ass heads on it and magic happened.

They are similar but the coyote overall is a 10x better motor. Much stronger and revs to the moon

@@WhyBeNick back in the early yote days. MMR came out with a 4.6 stroker kit that was nothing more than a gen1 yote crank.

So happy to see you guys kept with VMP on Neighbor, super nice guys from day 1 since you started working with them!

I remember the first test drive of neighbor with the stick tranny, and the Gatorade bottle as the reservoir. It’s amazing how far y’all have come! Still my favorite folks on KZread

I've always had a soft spot for Neighbor because it was the OG build that got me hooked on the channel. It's amazing to see how far you guys have come since then. Keep on ripping!

Putting a gt500 motor in a crown Vic is what brought me to the channel! Not knocking other manufacturers, but interesting to see Cleet’s slow progression into “Ok, Ford’s are pretty good too.

Hopefully the other distributor sized white box has a small block mopar distributor because the big block mopar distributor wont fit corn cob.

corn cob, the issue is very likely the fuel supply vs. carburetor. it's probably boiling off the fuel in the lines from tank to pump and up to carburetor. (vapor locking) it needs an electric pump at fuel tank, dual lines to front with return style regulator near engine, heat wrap all the lines from rear to carburetor inlets and run a phenolic carburetor spacer to keep engine heat off of it. depending how much fuel is in the tank, it may need heat shielded, if it's a steel tank maybe rusty inside and stirring the rust blocking inlet screen.

A 383 is a big block in the Mopar family.. its the same block as the 440.. all mopar's look smaller due to the puny heads.. with one exception.. 426 hemi heads.. There are two different blocks though called short and tall deck..

@@Clutch_Kick187 The engine is a small block as the distributor is in the back, a 361/383/400, low deck, or 413/426/440, high deck, distributor will not fit. Pretty sure they even spin in opposite directions.

The Holley EFI is easy though, a carb is 4 bolts, and the throttle body just replaces the carb. It's as easy as swapping out a carb then plugging it in. There is a reason why Holley Snypers are the most popular EFI swap around. @@FourRulesRacing

Dude tkm make savage bullets... I have a 427 from them with top fuel hoops and it's going so much faster in my foxbody than I thought it would i haven't seen more than 22 psi yet ... and already way faster than my old engine at same boost ...Neighbor has a stout piece now for sure

With that “self tuning” sniper you may still wanna get Nate. If the cam in corncob doesn’t make enough vacuum at idle it won’t be happy. It’ll run, but the learn table will be ever changing especially at idle and on start up when hot

That supercharger is the size of most 4 banger engines in cars now. 12:31 Famous last words.

That new VMP blower is actually the same size as the old one, it uses the TVS 2.65 rotor pack. It’s just a huge intercooler on the top and the blower is inverted. Similar to the coyote gen5 whipple kits. Will be way more efficient than the previous setup. Although I was really hoping for the big 3.8L Gen5 whipple!!

That's gonna be sick that super charger is freaking Tremendous 😂...can't wait to see the numbers on it!!!!

Stock coyote cams aren't a restriction til you hit 1000 wheel horsepower. And btw, you should have that thing rev to over 8,000 rpm's. That sound is so unique

Yeah I’m surprised it ran period as neglected as that carb looked They should’ve just ordered a worked over 4412 from willys and let it sing (while a 4412 is a 2barrel they can be modified to flow like a decent 4barrel and 4412s are about the least picky carb ever and you’ll never get slosh issues like you may with a 4 barrel)

Loving the editing work so many cuts and still a great video !

Totally agree, AND it's a genuine 4 seater drift capable burnout car. Easy giveaway at every Cleetus & Cars right there - 3 seats in the opening burnout of the night aboard Neighbor. just draw a ticket number out of a hat. Neighbor traditionally has taken a beating and just keeps on getting back up for more. I sure hope this engine combo can keep that up.

I love my 1st gen Holley Sniper Stealth and Hyperspark kit. Its so nice to adjust everything on the go if I want to, I get better gas mileage, the car is more consistent at the track and i'm making more power than a plain carb and distributor setup could ever make. Its a win all around but I tune my own car, the software is easy to learn too
