DO you know how can I prevent the annihilator and juggernout from spawn? I already disable them from "advance monster spawns" but they always keep spawning anyway

I love that design philosophy where every monster isnt that hard to deal with, but they all get a circumstance to shine in

For some reason, I always like to call the Infernus “Tremor Barons” when i first saw them because of how they do ground spike attacks.

Forgot to mention that you can make a cyber demon work with you instead of glory Killin it and it counts as a kill I think

I've had some luck with laser-guided rockets. Even if they go intangible before the rocket hits, you can shift your aim to the ground where they are and get splash damage, and the altfire takes them out pretty quick a lot of the time. Not gonna lie though, they get in my head. I have a hard time fighting them smart instead of just spamming the flamethrower around and hoping to get lucky.

I've heard that some of the cut monsters might be making a comeback with the final version (of this crazy awesome mod)(actually I love all the mods and modders but this one has a special place in my heart since old versions) monsters such as the pyro sergeant, trite elementals, rifle commando ( I know some people didn't like that one due to it teleporting in reinforcements) and I swear there was a chain gun arachnotron among a couple others I can't remember. I really can't wait to see where these guys are going to take this.

I believe it was a current update. It was spawning too many flying sergeants or something, I think it will be temporary. I looked at their community manual they're making and it shows him still being a part of the roster among some new baddies they are adding.

MP-40 is my favorite submachine gun in this game. By the way, I liked how you kicked the enemy into the lava and he burned down.

it's always felt unbalanced to me.

I found the Dark Matter Plasma Rifle to be quite effective against flesh wizards when the charged shot was slower. I do not like the Overlord; those things would have given me nightmares as a kid, I didn't even like the look of the pain elemental when I first saw it and the noise it made. I've been playing Doom off and on again before the ESRB was a thing, so yeah, nightmare fuel for sure.

Overlord is terrible, yes. At least they're not really fans of a railgun

In the old PB version juggernaut are easy to fight in area that had high and low ground by let them charge you and make them fall then you just torture him from above while he stuck. Yeah that flesh wizard always shit one from the time he got added, in the past I just stun him with acid gas and burn with plasma or quad barrel while he stuck

I often back to the wall when encountering flesh wizard. That way he can only come from 180 degree or less.

I remember struggling through some map pack while I had this installed and I had to look up a KZread video on how to get to the exit. The video had vanilla Doom monsters and it was quaint watching the player circle strafing them with a pistol without getting turned into a bloody stump.

This goes step above Brutal Doom v21. Is PB 3.0 ready yet? I would love to try this for both Doom 1 and 2.

I REALLY hate the Flesh Wizards, they zip across EVERYWHERE.

Flesh Wizards really suck ass, but I love their design and the weird ethereal sound they make when they teleport around making your battle in hell alot more annoying than it has to be. I remember the vanilla Zombies that shot you with a rifle yet didn't drop one in the original game. Considering the original vanilla doom pistol was one of the worst starting weapons in video game history. Worse then the cane in "Dr Jekyll and Mr. Hyde" on the NES. But the pistol in Brutal Doom and Project Brutality is really good and is reliable throughout the game if you're accurate with it. There are many custom monsters made by the doom community and while the current bestiary is sold, why stop there, he's a few id like to see in future PB updates. Abaddon (skulltag monster): An upgraded black Cacodemon that fires 2 gas hadoukens or 3 smaller projectiles in a row. Agathodemon: a white Cacodemon with a red eye, it shoots homing projectiles and can make itself mostly transparent. Aracnorb Queen: regular Acracnorbs were mentioned in this video, how about their semi annoying mother with 3 diffrent projectile attacks and they all hurt like hell. Archon of Hell: one of the coolest looking Baron of Hell variants I've seen, it shoots comets and has several "spread" hadouken attacks, its considered a mini-boss. Augmented Arachnotron: Buy one plasma cannon and get the second one free with twice the hurt. Azazel: a flying pain in the ass that looks like the traditional Baphomet, a high priority threat should you encounter one. Belphegor: a Blood red Baron of Hell variant tougher and fires 3 faster and more powerful fireballs. Catharsi: Similar to Imps that shoot essentially a mini-Mancubus flame cannon. Celt: a New Baron variant, with an awesome looking Sprite. It's attacks are very powerful and hard to dodge ice based attacks. Cardinal of Darkness or Dark Cardinal (from the "skulldash" megawad): A cool looking flying Cyberdemon variant, that shoots blue takes a serious amount of firepower to deal with. Death Incarnate: a very dark Revanant variant that can resurrect itself (not cool!) unless its "gibbed" in which case will drop a Hades sphere (defiantly not cool!) Divine Shadow: an Arch-ville variant that shoots a slow homing BFG hadoukens or smaller non-homing yet fast ones in all directions. Pestilence: a yellowish green Mancubus variant that not only shoots toxic hadoukens but also drops poisonous spherical mines and has a tentacle attack that comes up from the ground.

Flesh Wizards are the Slendermen of PB

I am playing the Staging version, usually at the highest difficulty outside nightmare and I find Afids so damn annoying. Tanky and they spam those fireballs like crazy. Deal high damage too, but I am glad they are dangeorus, its supposed to be tough

What is the mod to create the high res guns? Also those shield sarges are my worst enemy. Everything else in Project Brutality is just "See it Shoot it". But with those you actually need..... strategy. Feels wrong to say that about a Doom game.

Just switch to something explosive or sling a grenade at them they can't block explosions

Always found the Paladin off-putting since it visually doesn't fit with the rest of the bestiary. What it does and provide in combat is cool, but the elephant noises and Lion afro is so wack. Also, I find the Hellion easy since even in large crowds, the ai just teleports everywhere.

Man, next time maybe use "Buddha2" on the console to at least feel the damage made by the enemies without you dying. Also, can you make a video of the monster pack that adds more enemies to PB?

Best way to kill Overlord is to use the laser mode of the railgun and charge it max, it will oneshot the Overlord, these things are horrible, i had to fight three of them on a wad one time

To this day I still haven't found a way to disable the flying plane zombies from the mod. Easily the most annoying and unneeded monster in the entire mod. Wish the option to disable them completely was added.

You probably mistaken it with Brutal Doom creator, he is accused of stealing assets, and then mostly he is the one who accuses PB creators of stealing his stuff. At least that's how I heard it, might be different details.

i hope the marauder could've in the mod, i also know that there is a addon that puts this enemy into classic doom so if you combine de PB with the marauder addon is great
