Project Binky has taught me that almost anything is possible! All you need is ingenuity, tea, brackets, more tea, funk and at least 379 years. Nice one lads!
I remember when I first found you guys, back in, I dunno, episode 6 or 7. And thinking "Wow, they've been at this almost 2 years, it must suck to be one of their original viewers having to hold their suspense this long, and here I come along as a freeloader when it's almost done." That was 7+ years ago. :D I've started my own car project, 4 years ago for a "summer project" that's maybe 1/3 done, with 3% of the challenge yours has. Watching you guys has led me to respect the power of feature creep, and to help me say "No, get it driving first" a thousand times, because I have the same urges as you guys do. Instead, I live vicariously through all your "it would be great if..." that you actually get to do, while I preserve my sanity by denying them to myself. As you guys roll towards the bittersweet finish line here, I'm grateful that people like you exist in the world. 20 years ago this would never have been possible, and if it was, no one would have had a chance to see it happen. Thanks for going the extra mile to document this, (at the expense of taking 3x as long I'm sure), for all of us strangers.

Amazing. Just speechless. When i watched you make the parts for this Mini years ago, I was convinced everything looks just like an OEM would've made it. But the parts you're making now, years later, somehow look even more professional and OEM. I remember being underwhelmed when I saw you do the door cards way back when, not knowing the plans you had in store for them. This has honestly just blown me away!
Egads, that was worth the wait. The technical intricacies tied in with the subtle humour of nailing nic as a bender/dipstick at every available opportunity. The unparalleled soundtrack. The almost Germanic attention to each individual custom part being perfectly engineered to carry out more than one task. But with more tea....🇬🇧 The sheer bloody mindedness of producing the best you possibly can in every aspect of this build. Unmitigated brilliance, a testament to the best of British shedding. I yearn for more Escargot off the back of this, even if it is a cheese eating surrender monkey dish with an onion up its arse and a garlic clove in each ear. The day this horse of death is borne by the great snail upon *insert racetrack of choice here* will be a sight to behold. A toast of tea and biscuits ladies and gentlemen, to Project Binky!

Brilliant work yet again. I love the fact that five generations of my family have now watched this Binky series over the years.
Atleast 10000 cups of tea has been consumed during this build :)
I just finished a rewatch of all 38 episodes to get up to speed on the project... and I have to say Nik's Mini of Theseus has come a long way :D
I was an embryo when this series started. I’m discussing it in my master’s thesis now.
Mom the new Binky episode just got posted!! Always a great email to get, also really missing the escargo.
I have been watching this from the beginning and have enjoyed every little bracket, fitting, and problem solved. I have enjoyed this so much more than other projects where everything was laser-cut, CNC machined, aerospace quality welded into such rarified air, no mere mortal could ever drive it. Those cars have their place and that are fun in the galactic budget sense, but this is how I started building and I really appreciate the obsession over details. Overall, I prefer to have my fingerprints on something I built rather than having bought a part CNC milled from unobtanium that costs so much one can't discuss the amount in polite society. I also appreciate the British vocabulary lessons. While I feel as if I know many of the words you folks use for different parts, I learned a new one today; chimney nut. That's new for me. In the U.S. we call that a speed nut. Oh, and I love the British humor too, and, the lack of nonsense drama. Nothing but pure, oldschool, fabrication geekery and detail obsession. It will actually be a little sad when it's finished. To quote Deep Purple, It's not the kill, it's the thrill of the chase... I can't wait for the next episode. Carry on gentlemen.
I was wondering when a new Bracket Obsession Motorsport episode would come out a few days ago, and here it is. Loved it as always. The car is looking amazing.

Twice a year? The last Binky video was in 2021... you may have "bi-yearly" the wrong way around

The 'massive tart' line nearly sent ice cold VB into the keyboard!

Your builds are amazing as well, Jeff! Can’t wait to see that yellow monster hit the road.
That's proper packaging for sure! 👏
You put that poor old Myford Lathe through the ringer during this build. Good old English engineering, I own 2 and they are awesome.
Finally an update after 11 months...glad you are still alive! If you can't tell you guys were missed big time. Hope you are doing as well as you can be.
I see that the twins have grown up, I remember when they were born a couple of episodes ago.
Another year over.
I can't wait for the 2024 episode
Was that a second Tavarish mention? Seems like a valid reaction...😂
One year, four months, eleven days. That’s how long it’s been since episode 37. Let’s hope the wait for episode 39 isn’t as long.
Great to see this back in.😊
