I think part of it is the framing for him. Being told to do it verses choosing, for instance. Or here's a basis scenario, let it play out. But i guess it's doesn't work as a primary base design motivation. And as a long time tabletop rpg player(as dm 'narrator' or player), I'm the same. Best I can do is try to recreate some of the places I've been or seen on a game or show.

I learn a lot from his experience and his way of viewing life and people, as i had a lot of misconceptions as an introvert my self to how people perceive some things that prevented me from taking some choices. but after listening to similar instances to mine where he made some choices that could have gone a lot better for me had i seen his take on them earlier.

I think you'd like DnD Iskall. While roleplay usually isn't optional, it's not always the entirety of the game, and also, YOU get to choose how you roleplay and what kind of character you play, so long as your GM approves it. (All of you have to have fun, even the guy running the game, so keep that in mind. :D)

You threw the new PC specs on the screen in your ad read and I went to PCSpecialists to see what that sort of setup would cost. A new PC isn't in my budget and I'm in America, so there's another obstacle, but it was fun to look at what the options might be if I find myself in a situation where it might work.

I have chronic pain and just finished a pain psychology class as part of my treatment, and you’re exactly right Iskall about your wrist and focusing on it. The more you think about and focus on the pain the more it will actually hurt, our brains use the context clues to tell us if we have pain so reminding yourself that you’re injured kinda prompts the brain to say “ow, take it easy!” Which is good bc that’s how you make sure you don’t hurt yourself worse. Just wanted to chime in to say you’re right in that thinking about it does have an effect on the amount of pain you feel, but also that you should listen to the pain you feel and take it easy if you need to bc your body telling you you’re in pain from in injury is it working absolutely correctly and telling you to stop doing whatever is causing the pain. And I’m glad to hear you’re doing better and feeling better, hope it the issue with your wrist clears all the way up for you soon!

I love the idea that for the murder mystery the characters backstory etc are more fluid. The hermits are good improvisers they can make something however they want with some backstory for example it could have You are Miss Syrups Fiancé you are innocent but when questioned about your ex Miss Waffles you act guilty. You are rich and a lover of polo.

Vault hunters hide and hunt would be fun you all set up teams of 2-3 people you hide your bases from other teams in the base is a respawn block. The goal is to progress as much as possible, find and deactivate an enamy bases respawn block putting them in hardcore, and looting, pvp, and teaming up whilst hideing bases is allowed. That way builders can focus on the base and others the pvp exploration and looting. It'd encourage dungeon delving, and team energy with mild rp made easy due to the challenge. Similar to the life series but with more to do.

For Australia, Brisbane is good weather, but you're more likely going to want to visit the Gold Coast which has beautiful beaches and a city built right on the coastline. There's also the Sunshine Coast which is the opposite side of Brisbane. It's much quieter than the Gold Coast with more variety of beaches and landscape. Slightly further south is Nimbin and Byron Bay which are Hippie towns. The Gold Coast has a bit of violent crime in some areas though so beware of that. I feel like the city has fake people, with fake bodies in a fake city with fake money. Sydney is beautiful and the water in the harbour is incredibly clean, almost unreal for a capital city. People walk very quickly in Sydney though but there's plenty to see and do, a lot of large parks right in the middle of the city. Melbourne is fantastic for an urban feeling city. The food and coffee scene is honestly amongst the best in the world. It's been rated the world's most livable city so many times because of how nice it is. It's very well planned out for a city of that size and it's pretty easy to get around, the people seem much friendlier than Sydney people and about on par with Brisbane people but nowhere near as friendly as the Sunshine Coast or Perth. Adelaide has some natural beauty but not much else as far as I'm aware but i haven't been there myself. Canberra has a bunch of great camping areas and mountain hiking areas but I haven't been there myself. Perth has a few nice beaches and the people are very friendly. The state is very dry but Perth is not that dry. There's a lake kind of near Perth that has pink water. You'd need a car to get there. It's hours away I'm pretty sure but that's not that far for an Australian. Tasmania is cold but very beautiful from what I have heard but I haven't been there myself.

You could always give each of the hermits the bulletpoints for the character's role. "You are the wife of the victim, you are innocent, you act guilty when panicked, when asked where you were that night you said you were at a friends but you change your story in private with your best friend, you offer no free information to anyone else unless specifically asked" stuff like that. That's what we do as a standardized patient. We get the whole outline and back story of the character, but our answers depend 100% on whether the student asks us the correct thing or not. If they don't ask about our stomach pain, they won't know that it is related.

As for service, that depends on where you go. I've had some low quality service in restaurants. Few and far between, but it does happen here to, where you feel like the server (waiter/waitress) just does not want to be there, and thus doesn't want you there either.

5:56 Iskall should checkout early Doom games if he hasn't already. Both VH and Doom have a fast-paced run-and-gun play style and similar approach to mob implementation i.e. it's more enjoyable to fight many low-hp mobs than a few high-hp mobs. Something like the Arch-vile in Doom could be awesome in VH and would fill the line-of-sight attack role.

If wondering where in Australia to go, I suggest Tasmania. It's large, subtropical and a lot less deadly, the climate is a lot nicer and it's a lot less built-over. There are ferries but also flights frequently - the flights are recommended, they're very cheap.

Thailand was so awesome to visit, even if the flight was pretty rough from the US east coast.

You absolutely get waiters check how you're doing in Sweden, even in lunch restaurants though that's not certain. But in places with table service? It's rare you don't have them swing by occasionally.
