Progressive Waste Solutions: Mack LEU Heil Half/Pack Freedom FEL w/ Curotto Can part 1

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

Trash/ Bulk collection on Monday in Fate, TX.
Here we have a truck from the Waste Connections of Greenville, TX yard. They run more rear loaders in areas closer to the yard itself, so since the city of Fate is farther away they sent one of their few Heil Freedoms to take on this heavy haul of trash from New Years Eve/Day. Trash is five days a week, and is collected in 95-gallon polycarts. Recycling is two days a week and collected in two (or more) 18-gallon bins. Normally, WC collects only a single bulky item depending on its size, but anything else is considered trash, like some of the stuff sitting beside the dumpsters in the video.
At the beginning, there was a real pile of trash that would've taken the driver a while to pick up by himself. (If you want my advice, there should be a helper involved.) So some furniture movers and the two residents that lived in that specific house came out to help. Thus, leads to my crappy joke about it being a "neighborhood cleanup". Yes, if you spot a handsome fella in a super man hoodie helping out as well, that's me.
To the driver: Thank you sir for allowing me to record you and I'm glad I was able to help out!
TO WASTE CONNECTIONS OF GREENVILLE, TX: This video was created for entertainment purposes. Please don't use this video against any drivers if there is an accidental task performed by the crew.

Wow! That first shot was such a mess, there shouldn't be that much trash anyway, *recycle* imo. Nice of the the movers and resident to help out. Thats what I woulda done. Also cool of you to help out at other stops :) Still can't believe the residents would put out that much stuff and still not throw it in boxes or bins. The residents shoulda helped at least. Also sad to see so much recycle with the trash. They have recycling here, right? Suprised so much bulk was out. Great video nonetheless! Good job.

Thanks Brian! Yeah it's a shame they mixed in recycle with trash at that first shot. Even what's even worse is that they acted as if it was their own dump instead of putting it in manual bins or getting another trash cart to prevent all this mess. Luckily I had a pair of gloves in the back of my dad's truck so I could help out too. Yes, they do have recycling that's manual on Tuesdays and Thursdays depending your address.

Damn what a nice guy! I would have been pissed off at them for that dollar store bag at 2:35. After something like that I would have picked up their cart and just took off, and say they're lucky I took that much. It's ridiculous how they can't manage to put out all their junk in a neat pile so the garbage man can take it easily, let alone that they're already pushing the "1 bulky item" limit. This looks so messy that it almost reminds me of an illegal dump site. Again props to the driver for being so kind as to take all this crap, and to you for using such a nice camera to document it all ;)

Thanks! Yeah this driver definitely has an eye for the environment. I think I probably would've done the same. I think the driver gave them some kind of notice or something that if they had that much junk they should wait till bulk day to put it out, and yes, in a neat pile. They could also use a second cart.

That poor driver. What city allows residences to place unlimited items out like that ? I work for waste management and most city's don't let you place bags out outside of the container let alone all that trash. I bet they didn't even call to get it scheduled. Just placed it out and let the garage gods take it from there. I would have definitely left all that junk there and just collected the container

They've heard of recycling, but stuffing everything into garbage bags and hauling it all out to the curb so the garbage men could take it away is so much easier. It's throw it out and forget about it.
