Thanks man!
I should be able to upload the .ino file to the Pico, correct? I have a esp32 project I wanted to try but, I want to convert it over to a pico. Changing everything over (Hardware / Software) is still confusing. lol.

The ino file is the source code, the arduino IDE uses a c compiler to link and compile the executable that is uploaded to the micro controller. Eventually I am going to do a video on porting from pico to ESP32 for the VFO project. I did a video that covers a little about porting the vfo project from the pico to arduino which might be useful for you. kzread.info/dash/bejne/kZaFz7OHn5u9hpM.html

@@CircuitSecrets Thank you
Any reason i cannot find this in the 2.0.0 IDE version ?

Do you mean the 2.0 RC version? I looked for 2.0.0 and 2.0 RC is all that I can find. I installed it and it still has the additional board manager text box in preferences and it still has the board manager. Add the link to the text box and search in board manager.
Pio support?

I have not dug deep enough to see if there is a simplified way to use it in arduino or not. For Pio I think it would be easiest to start in VS code where it is heavily documented.

@@CircuitSecrets I figured it was still early days for arduino to support it.

@@CircuitSecrets I think the current issue is the UF2 file system. Generally most chips use ELF or Bin or something like that.

@@naasikhendricks1501 Yeah the third party support is way ahead of the standard support for the pi pico.
