A woman marrying herself can be seen as proof that she wants a wedding and not a husband. Even if she truly loves herself, I don't see why she needs to tell everyone. What exactly is the benefit of such a public announcement to others? Maybe it's just me, but I don't feel the need to tell strangers that I love myself (or that I don't). I assume no one cares. And if I am wrong, and someone does care, I don't see the necessity for a public statement. I can simply answer the question on an individual basis. So, with all that in mind, the simpler explanation is perhaps that she is a narcissist.

I think it's a sign she's desperate. As you point out, you don't feel the need to tell strangers that you love or don't love yourself and you assume no one cares. However, if you, like the woman in question, felt that nobody, not even you liked/loved you, you'd be compelled to shout about it in order to try to convince yourself that someone/anyone loved you. Nobody runs around yelling that the sun will rise tomorrow because we all know it will. The louder people shout about something, the less strongly they believe it.

Self actualization ceremony for women. Officiated by a real "shaman." Criteria, ladies must be over 40, single (single moms ok too). Masters or PhD preferred. I've been married for twenty years now, very happily. When my wife is feeling sassy, she'll say something like, "Take me out to lunch, because I'm a pretty, pretty princess!" But since she's not a lunatic or an egomaniac, that's as far as the self-worship goes. She spent less than $5,000 on our wedding to marry me when I was a dirt poor kid working my way through college in the military. She even told me she didn't want an expensive ring because she would be afraid of losing it and being out all that money. She's kind, she's always happy to see me, she lives within a budget, she shows up on time, and she loves keeping a home. I wish all you younger guys could have women like that. That's why we need the red pill, I guess.

It's all fun and games until they divorce them selves!

Maybe self weddings can bring David's Bridal back. She wants the dress? SHE'S GOT IT!!!! She's strong and independent, has more degrees than a thermometer (shoutout to Coach Greg Adams for this line), and makes six figures being a boss babe. She can afford it!!!

I thought about that business model years ago. The hitch was that women can sue anything for any reason, no matter how ridiculous it is. So, I couldn't get past some of these fat chicks finding a junior league atty working on contingency and suing me back to the stone age because they tearfully thought they were actually marrying ME. No matter how strong the language in the Terms and Conditions and how ironclad the agreement is, she can still sue. And at the very least, every time it happens I'd have to pay a lawyer out the ass. Bankrupt.

That's so depressing. Back when I was a kid in the 80s malls had petstores where you could buy actual pets, hobby stores, stores selling CD, VHS, and games. They were so fun to go to, but now they're just collectives of clothing stores for women and flamboyant gay men.

The major problem is that men are no longer empowered to lead women in a household. All their authority to make and enforce boundaries has been removed, largely through the legal system and societal programming denigrating male leadership as "toxic masculinity". However, all the responsibilities (actually MORE than in the past, of you include forced child support, lifetime alimony payments, and divorce settlements that largely favor women) still remain on men's shoulders. It is an oppressive system that enslaves men as nothing but work horses and wage slaves to women and the government. Which is why men are waking up and opting out of this system of usury entirely. MGTOW is freedom, gentlemen. Do not allow yourselves to be controlled by a system that hates you.

The overwhelming vast majority of women favorite hobby is spending money on clothing other fashion accessories or things to decorate thier homes which other than being worn or looked at are essentially useless Yes a few play golf or tennis and go to the gym but women golphers and tennis players are few and gym time is usually very limiting to an hour or so a few days a week and very few woman attend cooking or knitting clubs anymore or go birding etc etc and gardening for 80% of the nation is due to weather limited to a few month's of the year Men on the other hand have literally 100's of potential hobbies we can very effectively occupy our entire day as often as we wish hunting fishing hiking cars bikes motorcycles snowmobiles dirt bikes quads archery reloading over a dozen different shooting disciplines sailing astrology the number of potential hobbies men have or can start are endless Thats not to say women cant take up some of these same hobbies but most of these hobbies aren't in a woman's nature's or hard wiring to do Lastly over the last several 1ks of years of human history and evolution because of how marriage and dating worked (or actually didn't work for large numbers of men) men had to adapt and accept being alone for most of thier adult lives so men are much much better at achieving contentment when faced with having to be alone than woman can even begin to comprehend but in the next 25 years they are absolutely going to find out just how hard it is being a man You ladies Wanted it Demanded it Legislated it into a reality of law Declared yourselves as DontNeedNoManNoHowNoMore strong independent women Declared us men as horribly toxicly masculine and as utterly useless unwanted and entirely unnecessary and demanded we go away Well you got essentially everything you wanted and more Now its time to meet your new best friend The law of unintended conciquenses Ladies Bed.........
