@@Wholelattelovepage Hey guys, I just got my new Pro 300 set up and working. Obviously very pleased. I did want t9 give you a bit of feedback I set up for 195 degrees since I tend to use darker beans With my old PID Silvia I did a pre infusion of about 3 sec When doing this i noticed the boiler temp would drop by about 6 degrees as cold water re filled the boiler I had sort of hoped profitec PID would keep a more stable temp to what it was set at But instead when I did the pre infusion the boiler dropped from 195 to 189 I am not complaining… because I am accustomed to letting the boiler re heat on my Silvia So it is not a big ideal to do the same with the Pro 300 I am only sending you this feed back because none of your videos talked about this I suspect that if a user sets boiler temp to 200… and the brew a without a pre infusion…. The actual brew temp will likely be closer to 195…. Which is also a good temp…. But people should know what temp they are getting Btw…. You might not see this affect on a scace since the temp drop comes from the initial surge of water need to intially fill the porta filter. You see the PID reading when you stop brewing long enough for the timer to re set Anyway…. I am fine… no complaints. Just my own idiosyncratic feed back

Useful Vidio Im thinking to get the Pro 300 over Lelit Elisabeth even though Elisabeth has more settings options.

"Groupe Rossi": didn't change, like my old Ascaso steel Uno Prof (10 years).

After 15 years, I spent $10 on a kitchen scale and 4 new filter mesh's for my French press. I may treat it to an IZpress hand grinder to replace my also 15 -20 year old spice grinder, but I'm happy with the flavor profile for now. There is always a bigger fish, unless you go for a $10,000 Slayer and a $4000 grinder. I'm semi tempted by this machine or it's Lelit counterpart, but that's a way off. I think the pro 300 may be better made.

Would this process apply to the Profitec Go?

Hey Markus, We used Molycote in the video but any food safe grease works.
