Professor Slughorn is the one who held the key to V....vo.... sigh Voldemorts downfall. It was he who told him how to make a horcrux. He realized this mistake immediately.
But all in all he was a very nice man. A collector of talents and venoms or syrums if you will. Being the potions master and all.
Horace Slughorns wand from the Noble Collection seems to fit his character well.

down to the tips if you are not careful you can poke someone ' s eye out the duel because this is a pretty sharp tip.lollllll

Just put a magnet on it because if you can sense or observe something magnetic which means there is a metal rod .

I acquired this wand last year and emailed noble collection regarding the metal core, they said that this wand have a thin metal rod to accommodate the skinny and sharp tip of this wand.
Some said slughorn wand doesn't have a metal rod Its true or not?
