What a terrific season. I found myself rooting for all three of the finalists. I seriously wouldn’t have been upset if anyone of them won! I’m actually gonna miss them, but I know all will have very successful careers. I hope to see a follow up on all of them in the future. It would be really great to see how they all progress from here.

Totally totally totally agree. What a terrific season. Just loved this. Different from MasterChef Australia seasons 1-11, which is my favorite. Just started this series and it is superb. The judges are excellent and the way the did the show is perfect. Bravo. And bravo to the decorum and growth of these finalists.

Marianne had a restaurant in London for a few years, has written a couple of books and still works as a private chef. Steve went on to work with Michel at Roux until 2018 and now is executive chef at Glynnbourne

MasterChef UK: The Professionals, one of the few reality concepts I actually like. Its nice to see professional chefs battle it out, and show their creative side.

Agreed. I really like Great British Menu as well. All pros, some with Michelin stars.

Thank you for sharing these 30 amazing episodes! I love this series because is about the chefs, no drama here. I hope the BBC doesn't take these videos down so anyone can enjoy this amazing show.

Daniel’s menu was right up my street and looked delicious. Great job by all and a great competition. The professional version of Masterchef is an absolute favourite of mine, partly because the editing isn’t making the whole thing a personality contest and trying to tug at the heart strings. It’s much more honest and I really enjoy it for that reason.

This is the trio of masterchef pro. They are all deserving but at this right moment Steve cook to perfection with no error for his 3 dishes. It’s a well deserved win.

I feel like all three of them should win. They're great chefs. And they're all so humble and likeable.

incredible season! Really. And I came to understand Gregg's role in this whole system. He is a big promoter of talent, he is truly a generous soul.

Felt like I was on the ride with all three… well done. Thank you for this fabulous series! Riveting.

Brilliant that Mr. Roux Jr. said the winners name out immediately instead of the unnecessary 5 second wait. ❤ Well done everyone ❤

I've eaten Steve's food three times at Roux at Parliament Square. I also proposed to my wife there. Steve was fantastic. He prepared an additional, "special desert" which, of course had a piped message on it. (For obvious hygiene reasons, they couldn't put the ring in with the food.) On another occasion, I made a semi humorous comment about wanting the recipe for the unbelievable chocolate sorbet to the waiter. A minute later, Steve himself came out and told me. I made it the next day. Can't say I absolutely nailed the consistency, but it is a bloody good recipe.

Great show. I do believe Michel had a bet with Greg to see how many times he could slip the word 'unctuous' into the series though.

I cracked up when Daniel said he got a D in Home Ec at school. My friend and I decided to cook donuts one day. The recipe said 100ml of milk. We didn't measure it. 100ml seemed a lot so we poured in all the milk we had. LOL. There was no way we were getting donuts. We just got sweet, floury milk. I later successfully fed three kids to adulthood.

I like each of these chefs so much! I'm 17.5 minutes in to this episode, and I have no idea for whom I am rooting. 😊

Bravo to this series. This season 2 is spectacularly good. The judges were excellent and the contestants superb. The two main judges were a delight. Balanced personalities that let the cooking shine thru. Very impressed by the show and its format. Lightening in a bottle.

AWESOME SEASON, CONGRATS TO STEVE. MARIANNE WAS MY FAVOURITE TO WIN BUT I KNOW SHE WILL HAVE GONE ONWARDS & UPWARDS. SEASON 3, NEXT IN LINE TO WATCH.

ir-t was pretty clear from the 20th something episode that Michel had a preferred chef in Steve. No surprise. I think they all deserved the title.

If only Masterchef UK would celebrate the final winner like Masterchef Australia does. Very low key, lots to learn Masterchef UK.

Right choice! Steve had everything and more! Daniel and Marianne were worthy opponents but both just didn´t quite come up to the mark. Shame because both are decent cooks! Steve man, congratulations, I look forward to eating in your restaurant very soon!!

Steve and Daniel had a pact. One of them was going to win. I'd like to think they remained friends afterwards and perhaps even worked together.

All of them make ice creams as desserts..come on seriously, the pastry levels are so poor in the Uk

34:44 - fm, talk about the elephant vomit in the room, because that’s exactly what it looks like. Seriously?! Does no one see this?! No offence to Daniel, great bloke, amazing chef, but that “dressing” looks like he abducted a gull, coerced it into laying an egg, made it watch him as he poached said egg, then fed it back to the gull whereby, notably horrified by what it had just been made to witness, puked it all up onto a waiting plate. Gees! 🤢😂 I can’t believe on one’s commented on this. Objectively, it looks like vomit with some garnishes.

Does anyone ever cook a roast dinner. All these fancy schmancy restaurants. Who wants to eat foam and pay for it?

I found Marianne Lumb. She opened her own restaurant in 2013, which she eventually walked away from. She competed on Great British Menu, Series 13. She tells her story on ‘The Food Chain’ / How not to run a restaurant. BBC

I find the cinematography of this season completely unwatchable. This did not age well, I'm totally nauseated.

Monica abd Michel are great judges but i really wish Greg gets another job. He is just a parrot and works on my nerves. I cannot watch this show anymore
