nah you should watch the actual full video with him then. He was joking during the talk before the fight but was dirty during the actual fight. In the video, the dude was taking what was meant to be a light hearted session too seriously and was punching the mma fighter way too hard in the head and going for unnecessary body shots which pissed the mma fighter off hence the "I want to punch this guy really badly" quote from the dude. This is why he was the only one to actually go for a real sparring session with the fighter

@@julianmendoza9899 It's because he's a wrestler who primarily uses ground and pound. I know he has submission wins, but they were generally more "easier"/forgiving submissions i.e. arm triangle. A heel hook, especially an inside heel hook that he performed is a pretty intricate submission. Something that even a lot of jiu jitsu guys have trouble setting up and finishing. He's not even doing it correctly in the video but I guess he has the strength to just power through it even if he does it incorrectly. Also, it's on a radio show so it's not like he has to do it correctly in the first place.

I've trained martial arts for 10+ years (wushu and western boxing), my two great friends have been national boxing champions in their respected divisions (light, and welter), and what I learned from them is: You don't spar with professional fighters :). I had dozens of liver shots and knock outs that thought me that fact. It's a job for them, they do it 8 - 16 hrs a day. 5 days a week. It's funny to hear ppl say "I'll be surprised if I don't land a punch", I was recreational, and I can claim with 90% certainty, for any guy that never stepped on mat, or threw a punch, you will not land a punch on my face, let alone on a pro guy. I know this because it took me almost 20 months before I threw my 1-2 on the coaches face properly, and even then it was light sparing with 20 ounce gloves, and he could have knocked me out within seconds when ever he wanted. So yea, don't fight pro fighters :) I don't care how good you think you are are.
