Classic story - Soundset festival he was at the show as he was with Rhymesayers Entertainment. Performer couldn’t make it 10 minutes before they were to go on. They turn to Prof and ask him to go on stage to fill time. He agrees and goes out there and shuts the show down for 30 minutes. You would have thought he was the headliner and the 40k people there were for him. Many left knowing who he was. One of the best moments in my many years going to soundset.

Not a first timer, but I'm fairly new to Prof, and while no doubt he's a great performer, "hands down the best in hip-hop"?? That's a bit of an overreach, don't ya think? Or either your experience with hip-hop artists is very limited, please don't tell me Prof fans are heading down the path Tom McDonald's fans went down....lol. For real though, not tryin' to throw shade, if that's your opinion I respect it, but if you've ever seen Tobe Nwigwe's Tiny Desk performance where he does some of his best hits live with a full band flawlessly, or you look at a Lauryn Hill concert from back in the day, or a couple years ago The Roots and Common did a tour together, my god that was a good live show. Just sayin', there's a lot of greatness out there if ya know where to look. ✌💚

I worked at a cannabis growing facility. We would defold to prof. I never heard of him, until i moved to Illinois and worked for the cannabis industry. I feel like profs cds should come with a nickel bag taped on the inside of the cover. As your defolding on top of the ladders, and you have prof playing "big hungry monster", and everyone to your left and right is singing along, and we are all on the same page, getting work done. Something magical about those moments in life. You never realize the gravity in the moment.

Few months later the pandemic hit and then the riots. It was sad to watch, all that the first year we moved away from our home 😔🙈 Then my husband introduced me to Profs music. Louisiana came out and I instantly became a Prof fan! ❤ we love Pookie Baby! My husband has been following him for YEARS! Blessed to have been introduced to the Gampo squad ❤

The best thing about Prof’s music is that it covers such a wide range of emotion- man can make you laugh, vibe, and cry all in the same show. Not a lot of performers can claim the same these days
