Prof. Jeffrey Sachs: Political Upheaval and Global Security Challenges

Is NATO's future looking bleak? Join us as we host an eye-opening conversation with Professor Jeffrey Sachs, who sheds light on the seismic shifts in global power dynamics. We critically examine the recent Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) meeting, which represents a staggering 80% of Eurasian countries and 40% of the world's population. Sachs unpacks how nations like China, India, and Russia are advocating for a security and economic framework that starkly contrasts the US-led NATO model. You'll hear about a leaked NATO document suggesting Ukraine's inevitable membership-a perspective Sachs deems not just unrealistic, but potentially catastrophic. This episode also delves into the incompetence of current US leadership, the ongoing global instability, and widespread resistance to NATO's expansion, particularly into East Asia.
We also turn our lens to political upheaval in France and escalating tensions in Israel. President Macron's controversial stance on Ukraine has stirred up recent elections, adding layers of complexity to France's political landscape. Meanwhile, Prime Minister Netanyahu's impending visit to the US Congress invites a closer look at his long-term political goals and the escalating Middle Eastern conflict, particularly involving Gaza and Iran. Alarming reports from Gaza and revelations about Israeli military actions underscore a severe humanitarian crisis. Lastly, we scrutinize the American State Department's questionable handling of diplomatic issues, contrasting it with Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán's reasoned negotiations with Russia and Ukraine. Don't miss this compelling discussion on the necessity of high intellectual and political standards in global diplomacy, featuring insights from key international leaders.

America has "absented itself" from real world, positive cooperation. Brilliantly stated, Prof. Sachs! Mutual cooperation and sustainable development is the ONLY hope for the human species, yet American Governmental arrogance is unable to see the existential wisdom in that pursuit. The self-centered myopia of our American power structure is the major impediment to a viable future for the human species.

Let me clarify - literally today (according to the information of the Ministry of Defense and video from drones and satellite), a group strike also destroyed 4 Himars complexes at once (which were in positions prepared for a strike on the Crimea! Apparently, what happened on the beach of Sevastopol on June 23rd was very pleasant to Western curators and Ukraine and seemed a little!) And up to 35 foreign specialists who serve these complexes were destroyed! The pockets of Western taxpayers "shed" immediately for a round sum, and someone did not wait for their loved ones in the family at all!

My assessment is that this continued policy of expanding NATO and surrounding countries with what has become an adversarial military force is dangerously flawed. My prediction is that Russia will have no choice but to form another version of the Varsaw pact. With the way the new geopolitical system is shaping, it doesn’t have to be based on geographical proximity. The contours of such military alliance is already taking shape. Let’s envision a military alliance including Russia, North Korea, China, Iran, Turkey, Biélorusse, Serbia, Syria, and other countries in Asia and Africa which have rejected the old world model imposed since 1945 by the U.S. Should such a military alliance become a reality, it would be more of a threat than the former Varsaw pact alliance and the current version of NATO in my view. Because it would be present in multiple geopolitical areas of the world, and that would make any conflict, difficult to fight for NATO, let alone to win. It is therefore important for the knucklehead NATO leaders to understand the stupidity of their stubbornness. Why should the world be victim, with the threat of annihilation because these people cannot see further than the tip of their noses? Peace, Peace and Peace is the only path forward. Can these people understand that?

Judge, first, I would like to thank you sincerely, for all the marvellous insights and information that otherwise would be denied us, through your interviews with so many knowledgeable and admirable correspondents. I watch your channel regularly and invariably come away with a better understanding of the insanity erupting all around us. However, I have just one request to make regarding this latest excellent interview with Professor Sachs; PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, don't wish Corbyn on us. I realise you are, in the main, concentrating on UK foreign policy, rather than domestic but it is, of course, the domestic policies of a government that affect ordinary people at home. Corbyn is an out-and-out communist and if he were, God forbid, ever able to gain any sort of meaningful power, Britain would very soon be a Marxist state. It is bad enough being saddled with Starmer and his mob for the next five years who, incidentally, and thanks to our ridiculously antiquated electoral system, achieved a large majority having gained only one-third of the vote. If you want to support anyone, I would suggest Nigel Farage of the new Reform UK party, who also has spoken out against NATO and its role in the Ukraine conflict. Anyway, apart from this one, brief, negative comment, I thank you again for all the work you do to bring truth into the open and I wish you a very happy and enjoyable holiday in Italy. I shall await your return with anticipation!

What makes anybody think the USA wants to "win" in the Ukraine? It is not about "winning" but about *control.* Control means the ability to syphon off enormous gains. According to the USA's long-term goals, there must be inequality in the world which favors the USA, and everybody else must bow down to the imperialust overlords of Washington DC. *In February 1948, George F. Kennan's Policy Planning Staff said: "We have about 50% of the world's wealth, but only 6.3% of the population*...Our real task in the coming period is to develop a pattern , of relationships that allow us to maintain this position of inequality."* _And that's what these internationalist/globalist gentlemen did in the past, and still do today._ The peoples of Eurasia are still being turned against each other and then burned to ensure that this inequality remains. *This is how “divide and conquer” is implemented.* They pit European and Eurasian nations against each other and then rule over the division. The imperialist playbook of Great Britain and the USA for more than 100 years. Read Halford Mackinder (Pivot of History, 1904) and Zbigniew Brzezinski (Grand Chessboard, 1997) regarding Eurasia.

@@annmowatt7547 There is something you can do. *Remember all their names.* But as millions of individuals, maybe *we* the people should start thinking about a different strategy. All around the world, millions of people have finally figured out they are on the wrong side of a *100-year old imperialist war in Asia, Africa and the ME,* but they are not as connected or organized like the outside meddlers have been for 100s of years. Right from the start of this conflict centuries ago, the meddlers' strategy has been *"divide and rule",* and it has been all about OIL and outside Western CONTROL over strategic locations on the map. Counter strategy to "divide and rule": Start pulling the rug from underneath the feet of these eternal meddlers... *Boycott:* Much simpler than trying to remember the long loooong lists of what _not_ to buy, and for whatever specific reasons, is to try and limit what one actually _does_ buy: *buy no-name brands from small companies (addresses usually on the labels), buy local foods (farmers markets), buy locally produced or handmade items, otherwise go slightly "over-regional," or buy fair trade wherever possible.* It is not a perfect strategy, but don't get sidelined by the whiners/finger pointers who will invariably ALWAYS show up like clockwork, trying to ridicule or nag with their dumb _"...duh but your using a smartphone, but your using oil toooo"-gotcha style_ distractions. It is not MEANT to be "perfect"... *Methodology:* JDI and make it a _longterm lifestyle,_ not just a short-term knee-jerk "trend," because of some or other upsetting event in the news. Just boycott ALL corporations, as far as personally convenient and possible, and always remember that even if only 75% of all the people on the planet only get it right about 75% of the time, on roughly 75% of everything they buy, it will finally make a massive difference for all the causes _you_ also value. Want to bring the boys home? Do you wish to limit military actions to becoming multinational, following the principles of international law only, and independent of any corporate "interests." Do you wish to contribute to end western imperialist actions and meddling all over the world? You wish to contribute a small share to forcing Israel into a negotiated peace process? Do you wish to give small companies a better chance in the dog-eat-dog capitalist world in your country? Join BDS. It's free. Nobody will ask you to sign anything. Only once there is an impact, there will be change: because the international cross-border politically influencial well-organized rich and powerfull only REALLY start caring when their pockets start hurting... Start unravelling the connections between the globalist elites, international big business, and lobby-friendly Washington DC, by boycotting ALL big brands. Do not delay. Start today. 👍👋

Sure. They can get more done with someone as head who is not competent and so cannot really be blamed in the same way as a competent person. They can use him to put outrageous policies in place with less organized opposition, and they can easily make department head appointments of outright sociopaths such as Mayorkas almost unhindered. They don’t have to maneuver around the necessity of keeping their own popularity polished because it doesn’t matter WHAT people think of the current incompetent head of state-besides, he is old, can’t help his memory problems, and people need to be “nice” to the elderly. The shadow leader(s) can even have an actual tyrant in power as their “useful idiot”-someone whom they can operate while in their “sweats,” who is disguised as a grandfatherly teddy bear. Sadly for them, the current President OBiden is-or was-the perfect disguise. They will hate to lose him, but he’s broken now. All the King’s horses and all the King’s men can’t put Joey together again.
