@@zanetaylor7Seriously? English isn't even my native language, and when I listen to music with even simple, enlighs looped lyrics (dialogues from movies or some slogans), it immediately cuts me off from focus...

I can't agree with you. Of course songs also don't seems productive for me but if there are a couple looped sentences why not? As a D&B enjoyer I think lyrics in "6 million ways to die" by DJ Zinc are absolutely acceptable. Or as synthwave enjoyer lyrics in "Something beneath"/"Hypersphere" by Douglas Holmquist also makes sense

@@Renamed_User0 how are you the arbitrator of what’s acceptable to myself or others? We’re just stating what it’s like to be us, and having our say. I think what’s not being stated is that we both genuinely enjoy Blume’s work and care about the channel. It’s how I get my work done, and have been listening for years now. I have misophonia and adhd, so I’m well aware that others have different preferences and abilities I don’t have.

@@Renamed_User0You can't NOT agree with me :) :) :) You can't agree with me, that FOR ME PERSONALLY even couple looped sentences in language that I understant are highly distracting and hearing any lyrics in a background work snaps me out of deep work instantly? How can you argue that?? :D Ok, I assume it was just an unfortunate phrasing, and you wanted to say that you have a different preferences and you can easily deeply focus with looped lyrics in a background. I had never stated that objectively music can't be productive if there any lyrics in it - just that for me it stops being productice the second it introduces comprehensible words :D
