Production of High Yielding Disease Free Seedlings Tissue Culture Method | Banana Potato Strawberry
The demand for high quality potato seeds in the country is 2.5 lakh tonnes. BADC and Agriculture Department were supplying only 25,000 tons of seeds, which is only 10 percent of the demand. 90% of the seeds are stored in the farmer's house. Due to this the farmers do not get good production of potatoes. Tissue culture is showing the way to a new horizon in solving this crisis.
