Production Car Review - Wimbledon White Metallic Revology 1966 Shelby GT350

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

This is production car #45, a Revology 1966 Shelby GT350 in Wimbledon White with Guardsman Blue LeMans stripes, on its way to its new home in Canada. This car has the iconic Shelby white and blue color combination and looks very authentic, but when you look closely you will notice its 460hp Ford Gen 3 Coyote 5.0 engine, 6-speed manual transmission, 8.8" rear with 33 spline axles, and twin disc clutch. Then, when you open the door and are greeted by the luxurious scent of fresh Porsche Nappa leather and see the 7” touch screen with Bluetooth and reverse camera integrated into the dash, you’ll know this can only be a Revology Shelby GT350.

To KINGDOM MT: The carry-over cars had a 1" lower front suspension, like the 1965s. The would squat down just a bit on acceleration but never sagged like this on weight transfer. What you get when you move away from the original. Plus the overrider traction bars kept the car from snaking on acceleration. Went straight as an arrow. Hell of a lot of fun filling the interior with tire smoke on demand. Do miss that car.

Having owned a 1966 Carry-Over GT 350, sfm6S128, I have mixed feeling about taking a genuine car and converting it into a restomod. Different strokes for different folks. But compare the market value for this car and what it would bring if it had been restored back to box stock. Just my humble opinion.

Cars back then used lots of exposed screws because they didn't have modern adhesives, glues and plastic clips like they have today.

Beautiful. I love everything about these except the headlights. I think those modern looking headlights look bad on beautiful old classics like this. Look like eBay specials lol. Just my humble opinion and easily remedied of course! Love what you're doing! I wish someone would do this for Chevelles too. Edit: I also just considered that it may be a legal thing for yall...safety regs and stuff. But then that just brings up so many other questions in my mind about how yall do this!

Just find the shell and you can do a build up far cheaper and far more powerful than this.

@@Ginx-pe4si You know what, I used to think that as well, but when you watch all their videos and see the attention to detail and the quality of the products I don't think the average guy could pull this off...Walnut veneer, high quality leather, LED lights, OEM level drivetrain installation.Could you build a Mustang for less?? Absolutely! Will it be anywhere near as nice? No, it won't be.
