I’ve had mine since September, it’s been amazing once I got it set up as I wanted and got used to it.

did you buy spring/dampener kits, or do you feel it doesn't need it?
Received and have used mine since its release. Winwing has always gotten all my orders to me within two days of release, its insane. But yeah out of the box it wouldn't work and I had to lower the setting to %)% before it would register movement. Definitely right about not being plug and play but worth it.
Just ordered mine without the force sensing but with extension for centre mounting. Can’t wait to try it
Good review. Also keep in mind that this base in only compatible with the F16 grip, for those that might be considering using another style grip..
Your base seems to move when you apply force, you would gain some precision if your mount was stiffer. That was the case for me anyway. My second reaction after watching your excellent video is that potential buyers need to know that it looks like that force sensor bases need to be screwed to something to work well. First few days for me was a little disapointing but now that my base doesn't move anymore, I'm using 95% force and precision is incredible.

Aye, I have the base bolted on to a wheelstand pro, unfortunately that's as solid as I can make it in it's current configuration. I agree that you should try and reduce the movement of the base/stand as much as possible.
Thanks for the vid. Is this like a force-feed back device?
I have the Orion 1 F16 joystick and have broken 5 springs in the past 6 months so I'm looking at this as a replacement base as I can't keep pace with how fast I'm breaking springs.

I also broke a spring in the joystick recently. How you get the spring replacement?
Hi. Can a f16 trust master stick be used with this base ?
" joystick is now MORE sensitive" is that what we want especially when refueling ? I was thinking of going the other direction, like adding an extension to REDUCE the sensitivity....???
Is there a reason why you can't use an extension with this?
I can think about a con and it’s the deadzone that is between the stick displacement and force sensor.
Hi. Why I can’t find the Base with MFSSB ?
I want to use this as a throttle in space sim do you think they will ever do a left hand versions

You should try my father's method. I have vivid memories of him walking through the house banging the bottom of a pot with a wooden spoon. I used it successfully myself. 😂

Nice review - bcos of your review though I ordered mine and missed the fact that it doesn't have a z-axis, and I do not want rudder pedals - so it's just sitting there collecting dust, if anyone has an idea os a workaround other than the rudder path please leave comments. I don't mind putting a warthug grip on the winwing base if possible to get my z-axis.
I have the original realsimulator. How does this compare? Considering this or the new FSSB R3 ultra by Real simulator
Sir, If you ended up not liking the MFSSB is there a way of turning it off and using it as a "normal" stick with deflection as we've always had? Okay you've thrown a couple of hundred euros down the drain ....but is it possible?
5:30 Curious on your experience flying helis with this and why you say MFSSB is not good for it? Is this a learning curve or functioning limitation?
@wildbillkelso2083

The amount of stick movement required in helicopter sims does not lend itself to the force feedback model. There is no amount of tuning that would make it flyable in a helicopter.
Woah, been a while since I caught a video so early.
Can you post your settings. I'm having a hard time finding a good spot

Sure, I currently have the MFSSB setting as follows - Mode - Force + Displacement With about 20% on the displacement. Ibhave the force setting at 20% of the 6kg max.

@@Gunfreak19 you're welcome. I'm still tweaking but have been using those settings and trying to build a bit of muscle memory with them. They seem good at the moment.
429 0 seconds ago I'm confused, not surprising, but why do I need this? What does this give a simmer over a full deflection stick? It looks pretty pricey to me just to use micro deflections instead of what 17 degree deflections? I'm not trying to be negative, just not sure what the cost is really buying and why I might need this over the stock Orion
The requirement to remove all other USB devices for the first install is a bit of a killer. Especially for those of us who have the PC distant from the desk and have everything connected via hubs. How well does it work outside SimApp Pro? And was that a USB B connector? Haven't we all moved to USB C these days?
@Quagmire425

Both my F16 EX throttle and FSSB base were plugged into my USB hub and the firmware updated fine. I think that "requirement" is just CYA from the company.

I got the stick with this already in it. I don't see the MFSSB in the simapp pro software though. I loaded up DCS and can feeling it working though.

How does it feel on high g turns and stalls. I’m really interested especially since they’re on sale for $270 at the moment.

@@Jeremy61300 From what I have played of dcs it feels id say ok. I wish I could crank it up a bit but I think you need to have the expectation that its not like a direct drive steering wheel, it has only so much to give. Its enough to know what's going on. I still stand by best priced hotas right now as long as you don't need Z axis for say Star Citizen.
Is the base still changeable with the cam kit and dampening kit so i only have to have one base?
@wildbillkelso2083

Since the factory determined the MFSSB requires factory installation, the answer would be no, a second base would be recommended.
@johnraahauge4552

@@wildbillkelso2083it’s strange they offer the cam/spring & damping extension kit as a recommended extra attachment when you order the MFSSB. Also the base manual shows how to switch between the units. I wonder why it was so hard to install. It looks pretty straight forward in the manual.
Well i like your review but you talk noting about the Force-Sensing wich is all the point of this ??
Mine wont stop beeping like an emergency beacon and is driving me crazy. Haven't used it in the week I have had it and the customer service is terrible. TBH I'd rather send it back rather than continually try to solve this issue through emails every 2-3 days
wow that a great price!~

OK, there are a few issues with this setup.. 1. You can ONLY buy this PRE-INSTALLED. 2. If you want to install this yourself.. nope, ain't gonna happen, WW will NOT sell it to you - it's too complicated to install yourself. Their words, not mine. Evidently, only WW techs have the knowledge, expertise and competency to install this (even though there is a detailed PDF on how to do it yourself.. and this PDF is on their website!).
Sadly it's completely out of stock
Dang I’m early

So, I just got my Orion2. Shipped with the fucking pins bent and I can't use it now. This was a christmas gift. I can't even fucking return it because I removed a fucking sticker. Don't get anything from WinWing. Please.

I guess this is cool for Chinese stuff, but if you want the REAL deal, look into "Realsumulator" and check their F-16 FSSB grip out. Made in the EU as well.
