Quick Question, Can I “ live video view” through the app even when I’m not near the car? For example, when my child is using the car & I want to check on him can i see a live footage of the dash cam?

Good question! Unfortunately you cannot "live view" if your phone is not close to the car. This is because the camera connects to the phone through WiFi and the range is limited. For your scenario you'll have to look at a camera that saves footages to the cloud, but these cameras could be extremely expensive coupled together with a monthly subscription for the cloud storage. You can do what we did with our son: If the camera is missing any footages from the time he was out in the car, he will not get the car for the next couple of days. It's like a time out -- if footage is missing for 4 hours, no car for 4 days 😊 Hope this helps!
